I agree. That's a big red mark against who ever thought I was a good idea to appoint him. What was the logic in appointing him, RDD?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Initially he was a temporary measure and lifted the morale around the club. I'm guessing he got the job because we couldn't get out man.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe they lacked the foresight to know what to if the interim did well., which he did.

No he doesn't have the pulling power of a Klopp or Pep.
But he is the manager of one of the biggest and most famous clubs in the world. Players have varying reasons for moving.
We cam sign our share.

Not this window according to Ole

Was our man Fletch or Rio? Who was the man he wanted, just out of interest? He made the permanent appointment straight after 2 defeats. And he didn't seem interested in waiting til the end of the season to make a decision on the appointment. Why would he have wanted Ole as our permanent manager? If he watched that game against PSG (or any of our league performances, not results, leading up to that), I'd like to think that he'd have been slightly concerned about performances. Then there were the two defeats immediately after the ultimate smash and grab.

Do Ed appointed Ole temporarily, then saw how we were performing under him (again, performances, not results) then rushed through his appointment off the back of two consecutive defeats. Why didn't he wait til the end of the season? Why were Rio and Fletch the only people linked with a DOF role that is no longer required, apparently? What do you think Ed is doing there?

He made our squad worse. It’s scary how unprepared he was for this season.

It was a difficult position they were in to be fair. They couldn't not give then the job but perhaps they should have waited until the end of the season before making the decision and if they aren't already, should have been spending the next season, identifying good managers instead. Poch mustn't be high up their list if they are doing that as they would have moved for him already, with the risk he might go elsewhere.

Rodgers would be the best choice although he'll not be a popular choice. He get the team playing good football and actually moving forward in a planned style. Watching you yesterday looked like the players were just making it up as the went along. There didn't appear to be a plan in how to attack. Pass, pass, pass, can't do anything, blast it over the bar from 25 yards. Was excruciating to watch. Many games have been like that, that I've seen. Like Solskjaer, he's also good with young players.

I think Ole got the job because he did well initially and raised morale around the club. Maybe we couldnt get out 1 choice.

This is the thing. None of us know.

How we will never sign atop player, or
What a terrible job Ole is doing
.And then says it's just opinion. As if we wanted his opinion.

No I don't.

I never said you can't sign a top player.

Yes my opinion is Solskjaer is doing a bad job. Many United fans agree with me, are they trolling too?

Yes it's opinion. If you only want opinions which agree with yours then perhaps a public open forum is not for you?

Don't know why Pool fans love him, he spoilt your perfect record.
Or City fans after he beat them at their place ending their title hopes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just because he's doing a terrible job at United and has brought you backwards. Nothing more than that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

In a bit of a trolling mood this morning, TOOR?

Too early to make judgements like that. Try enjoying your club’s success with a little humility.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not at all. Just my opinion on the job Solskjaer has done so far. If you disagree, that's fine. I won't call you a troll for it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don’t think you’re a troll but this is a bit of trolling, it isn’t a sensible comment.

I'll agree to disagree. I'm not going to spend hours arguing about whether I'm trolling or not when the outcome of that is going to be the same at the end as it is now. I'm going to say im not trolling and you're going to say I am. Worthless argument.

Indeed it is TOOR, and you never admit fault anyway.

What's very telling is that those who want a new manager can acknowledge the good Ole has done. I dont recall seeing anyone thr Ole in lot acknowledge any of Oles faults / mistakes.

As you only ever appear to say something negative, then yes you're a troll.
If you don't like me pointing this out then perhaps a public open forum isn't for you.

All the talk at the time was Poch with some crazy 40m release clause, now he is a free agent it must be all very confusing for Ed to know what to do.
Start again with Poch with all the upheaval that brings or stick with a novice manager about whom after one year there are a lot of questions being asked.
If I had to push the button on this one myself today I am not sure what I would do but I do believe every top club in Europe would push the Poch button without a moments hesitation

Theres been plenty of criticism of ole re player selection, tactics etc

The problem with the likes of you is you've had an anti ole agenda right from the get go and never gave him a chance

You were talking about 6 pointers back in September ffs

Man United have developed a sacking culture at the club. Look at all the fans wanting Ole out already who has done a decent job given the circumstances

Then your memory is poor RDD. I have said more than once that he is tactically poor. I would prefer to see someone other than Phelan next to him.
Many have pointed out his lack of nous against defensive teams.
