Ok. Good summary warts and all.

Only saw early stages of the game and didn't know about Brown playing CH.... WTF.

Klimala could have come on at HT and Eddie rested. He's not going to get up to speed with 10/15 mins off the bench each game. Still missing too many chances for my liking but the positive is at least we're creating the chances.

On to the next away day and continue the momentum since the Winter break.

Indeed, 3 away games in 7 days, win them all and we're at least 5 clear in the league and into the quarters of the Scottish Cup.

Can't ask for much more if that happens as we head into the middle of February.

Great first half, superb football from us.

Second half Lennon's a vvank.

That's enough of you for 2020.

Brown moved to centre half so we could keep as close to the 3-5-2 formation as possible. Lennon then changed it to our more familiar shape when he brought on Johnston.

I still think fans look too deep to find problems when they probably aren’t there-and I don’t know why?! JBJ’s thread from last night is just abysmal. Yesterday was just a full day of moaning cants, trying to outdo each other. Yeah, there’s things I might want him to do differently and things I might want the club to do differently or better, but even I get that sometimes, there’s probably fair, reasonable and logical reasons why they don’t.

We were excellent in the first half last night, and we didn’t need to keep pushing ourselves in the second half. I thought we could have taken Edouard off earlier, but there’s every chance he was kept on to see if he could get a goal.

What problems do you believe fans are finding that aren't really there?

If you say Bauer you'll join Timmy on the naughty step

I agree on Juke's article, he's just been mwi though, he admitted it himself, sure he'll be slightly embarrassed by it.

it was basically Aberdeen away from a few months ago brilliant first half then seen the game out second half it’s not great sitting in the stands watching it but it’s just what most teams would do when they’re 3 up on a shocker of a night on a shocker of a pitch

I’d rather focus on the performances of Taylor Ajer Ntcham and Forrest

Taylor was brilliant easily his best game for us and should now nail the left back spot down

Ajer was starting off every attack in the first half bringing the ball out from defence and he made some crunching tackles

Ntcham had a rare rolls Royce performance away from Celtic park which is always nice to see his goal was a cracker great ball in from Forrest

Forrest with yet another assist and a superb goal looked right at it last night taking his man on getting to the byline hope this is the start of a typical Forrest burst of 8-10 top performances which is what you need from a winger

All in all a fantastic result and apart from an avoidable situation at the end a great night

Roll on Sunday

Btw, Stephen Craigan last night.

Every Celtic attack he slated St Johnstone. St Johnstone then strung 3 passes together and won a throw in and he went "That's good play again from St Johnstone"

He's worse than Kris Boyd that kant, doesn't even try to hide it.

Just like Andy Walker.... slaughters rangers for everything and praises the opposing team for winning a throw in etc

Bauer is now our 3rd choice RB. He was brought on solely, for me anyway, to keep our formation as close as possible to what we started.

The physio comment-think that’s a bit harsh. You’ve no idea what the convo was between them, and what Johnston said to him to let him play on.

Brown has been getting it tight on here for long and weary. He might be limited, but there’s been games where he’s been excellent, and all I read on here is ‘awww man-remember that pass that Broony kicked to them?!’

Every player we have will have flaws. That’s why we have them and they’re not playing for Barcelona.

Would be good to read a bit more balance at times.

I’ll always now remember Craigan for shouting El Bufalo when Morelos was about to take the penalty in the cup final

That's what happens when you read what you want to read though.

Brown's been given plenty of praise on here.

No one is saying our players should be good enough to slot into a Barcelona side, you're being silly now.

It's not ridiculous to suggest for a player to keep the ball in the park 3 times in 5 minutes is the basics.

Anyone see Solsjaer with Lingard last night?

At least Lennon was a bit more subtle

There’s certainties in every match

Brown giving the ball away
Jullien passing to a striker
Ntcham hitting fans in rows p upwards with shots
Griffiths being offside
Eddy taking too many touches when he doesn’t need to (about 50 times last night)

He genuinely looked terrified of him last night.
