whatever you say about Gerrard and experience you can't deny he has done a good job there
they won both new year old firms in the last 2 seasons to give themselves a great chance of the league and could still win it this season
he's taken them into the knockout stages of the EL which is a terrific achievement
cup record is questionable but they were unlucky not to win the LC and are in the 1/4 of this seasons scottish
he's also beat us 3 times including once at Celtic Park where they hadnt won for a while
----------------------------------------------------------------------
nice try Ghod
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Totally agree with ghod
What part don't you think is correct ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nearly two years - no trophies.
Surely most Celtic fans want him to stay - that about sums it up.
Ghod is right though
Yes Rangers have spent money. A lot of money but their team is so far much better all round. Gone are the 5-1 humpings and the rubbing of hands when we were about to play them. They’ve got the better of us too many times for my liking and should by rights have won that LC.
Depth of squad and some degree of managerial experience has cost them dearly as well as the antics of the mercurial Morelos.
We have a far bigger squad in depth and we have experience throughout the entire club which includes the management in how to get over the line. We’ve also improved and the football is easier on the eye than it has been the last two seasons.
There’s the difference.
do you remember how bad Rangers were under Warburton/Caixinha/Murty
the thought of them even winning a game against us was laughable

Guys some of you are not being scarfy enough
I’ll take a wee plunge here.
If we were still under Rodgers and playing the same style of football; Rangers would be a few points ahead of us and the cup already won. We were getting that predictable and slow.
"but their team is so far much better all round."
Aye 10 points behind really suggests that.
We're just as guff as we were under Pedro and Murty

Even Warburton got us to a cup final, hardly an achievement unless you win it.
Oh aye I forgot that 1-0 thrashing last season and that 2-1 this season.
Don't win the old firms when the pressure is on us though.

I don't really want to be a Gerrard cheerleader, but he didn't play 40 games in the championship and ramsdens cup
I said it at the start of the season and i'll say it again, Celtic have much better players, Rangers have surprised me and did very well to stay in touch with Celtic for as long as they did, so in that aspect I think Gerrard has actually done a very good job, there's simply a massive gap in quality especially when it comes to squad depth.
Last night these players didn't get a start for Celtic.

For me 6 or 7 of those guys would start for Rangers on a regular basis.
It will be very interesting to see if Rangers have went all in this season to stop 9 or if financially they are able to come again and strengthen for next season...
