So the clueless one, the garbage manager

I said before the game started that I liked the look of the line up Ole put out and they delivered today. Ole definitely deserves credit for selecting the team today and setting them out to play the way they did. Really really enjoying watching Bruno play too. He is that link between midfield and attack that we've been desperately lacking.

The stats say he is the best manager we had since SAF left. In fact our stats are better than SAF stats. Shame its like our worst record in the league this season since SAF left but our best in domination. Football is a funny old game and we have been screwed by VAR a lot wrongly and missed big chances and conceded soft goals that has led to that.

We should really be on at least 50 points.

It was always going to be a bumpy year and we need personnel in key positions, but there are some promising signs at least.

Generous to Robb though, he’s the guy who implied we were in a relegation battle. The club can certainly do without short term fans like him.

Winston a side in a relegation battle with only 3 shots less than Liverpool and 7 shots on target behind them.

Reality is we should be miles clear of sides around us but like Chelsea a lot of bad luck has led to lots of dropped points.

Robb called Ole a bum... Has done several times... He doesn't deserve to be excluded

Leaving the Ole argument aside... I think we've plenty to feel positive about, Bruno looks the part, Mason Greenwood, Rashfords form pre injury, Scotty, Brandon Williams

We've the basis of a good team regardless of who is manager

Squad strength is another matter

We were never in a relegation battle.

You could be right Winston, he did give him some stick, pretty relentlessly too until he realised it was boring.

Obviously

Which is why the relegation battle declaration was stupid... Especially as we were never in one anyway

It’s just the constant calling for a sacking.

How can you change your mind twice in 12 months about the guy?

Everyone’s entitled to an opinion, to have doubts, but ultimately we don’t make the decisions and we either choose to get behind him or we don’t.

When you can see what he’s trying to do, when we’ve had the upheaval that we have and when we’re coming off the back of such a mess, calling for his head within 9 months and after one transfer window was absurd.

Even the most relentless Ole haters should start to think twice now.

Havent seen much articles from Robb or UWW lately about Ole sacking. They would look silly if they did.

He may not be the right man, but I’m confident he’ll leave the squad better than he found it.

As a club we should be better than calling for the sack of a manager within 9 months and I think most decent fans are.

Robb called Ole a bum
----------
This kind of thing annoys me a bit.

It's absolutely fine to think Ole isnt good enough, but some of the insults aimed at him from some of those mentioned in the article (a joke, a clown, an embarrassment, a bum as you say) are totally uncalled for.

Ole has given a lot to this club and as a person he deserves a bit more respect from people who will never contribute a fraction of what he has.

52, we have some miserable cants on this board who love to fester in misery. I think the future looks bright and I do think Ole is improving. Learning OTJ at our club is a huge ask, but I like his signings and his tactics, though still a bit naive - have definitely improved. Paunch wouldn't be doing any better here. I'd rather enjoy a result like today and say well done Ole.

Imagine a CM of Neves, Bruno and McT (or a better upgrade)

James would be a great squad player so we need to dip into the market and go all out for Sancho.

Tony took his goal well but for most parts he was poor. I am not convinced by him or his general effort ( lack of) during most games.

A front three of Rashford NEW CF Sancho would be phenomenal.

100%

He's been involved in some of the best nights I've had as a united fan... Loved him as a player

I couldn't throw abuse at him

For me Ole should still go end of. I’d happily bring in a better coach now to take over. This may still happen

United we win, we know you hate OGS as he has got us playing really well all season. Honestly even if we were 17th I would say he should stay as long as we were dominating games as its the personnel that is the problem.

Look at Chelsea Di Matteo wins CL but set his team up to get completely outplayed every game but his side were like 5x as efficient as the opposition nearly every game. The opposition have been way more efficient than us all season and that is the main reason why we struggled hence why we had similar shots for and against as Liverpool who have nearly won every game this season.

I still have my doubts over Ole tbh. Not sure he is tactically astute enough for United when we play the big guns of Europe/Prem. He isn't helped here with two novices in McKenna adn Carrick sitting next to him. A top quality CDM, another midfielder and a right sided forward would make a huge difference. Again though, I really worry about how we set up for set pieces with this zonal marking - I think we ride our luck at times.

Disagree - martial is more than good enough and his last 3 goals have been very good goals. 15 now for the season. He’s one of our best attackers and contributes nearly every game in a side that doesn’t create much. He’s going to hit more than 20 this season and with a couple of assists too and with 8 weeks injured! That tells me he’s a good player
----------------------------------------------------------------------

All down to Ole's genius man management and skill for developing his players.

Wouldn't you agree?

Easily beat Chelsea 3 times, beat Leicester City, beat Man City 2 times away, beat Tottenham 2 times in the league and 1 in preseason, should have won against Liverpool etc. josunited what are you on about?

Also we don't ride our luck at times. Since we beat PSG we have scored significantly less than expected and conceded far more than expected even if XG goals at times is bad.

Since Solskjaer took charge we are near 100 point teams for shots for and against.

So possibly his best season... You don't think the manager can be given a little credit for trusting him up front
