So if it Ends now, 1 up 1 down?

What happens with play offs?

Do Brechin get relegated to Highland league?

Who gets promoted to League 2, do they promote both Brora Rangers and Kelty hearts come up making it an odd number??

So many questions this morning

Fck Hearts

Good to see the SRU pledging £500k to clubs that will struggle financially with this, will the SFA do the same as some clubs just cant survive with no income

If the rumours are to be believed then this is it.

1 up, 1 down.
No play offs
League cup next season scrapped
Scottish Cup declared void this season
Prize money paid to clubs by end of March
Next season will begin on September 1st
Euro 2020, postponed to 2021

Pubs self closing in Co.Tyrone 🥺 No sport on anywhere, sounds like schools over here will be ordered to stay shut until September. The Mrs is self employed and very worried about no work a month or two as it will close the premises she operates out off 😔 I suspect my work place will recommend home working from next week. Fear for the aul one as she needs social interaction as much as she needs the safety of social isolation all her wee social clubs have been closed. I hope to fvck therebis going to be some proper financial packages in place for the self employed who are not able to work because of this, we can't claim for anything as my income knocks us out straight away not that I earn anything remotely decent ☹ Right moan over possie vibes, hope you and your family come through this unscathed, healthy, emotionally and with minimal impact on your wealth 👍

Sounds like quite a lot of this is affecting you mate, feel for you.

I seen Italy have suspended all utility bills etc. as well so hopefully common sense prevails here too for that.

I must admit to having mixed feelings about some of the things being said around the game. At the end of the day it is just that, a game, and not important whether leagues are finished etc.

However, some of the bleating about putting players lives at risk even by playing closed doors doesn’t sit well. People are still being asked to carry out their jobs to try and keep the economy going. Many people are not getting paid if they don’t do their job. Footballers playing outside with a very limited contact group are going to be one of the safer jobs versus folk in an office, transport, utilities, shop or factory. Large swathes of folk are going to get it. Maybe if Rooney et al get their pay stopped they will have second thoughts?

Assune thar you've all seen the stuff from France about anti-inflammatories.....Nurofen, etc.

Best to get medical advice immediately if you are taking these.

Couldn’t care less about the football with recent events.

I’ve now hit workplaces and many people I have to think about while the economy grinds to a halt. The immediate future is about as bleak as it gets and I think we are many months away from having any semblance of normality.

Doctors and nurses will be forced to choose on a daily basis who lives and who dies; we don’t have the equipment to treat even the minimal numbers expected; older people will pass away without perhaps never seeing a friendly face again and children likewise may never see the grandparents or parents again.

People are fighting each other over food, toilet rolls and sanitiser, so football can shove its self interested parochialism as far up its rse as it can. Rooney is a fwcking belle end and symptomatic of the pampered morons who happen to be able to kick a ball.

Maybe they should just cancel all european competitions indefinitely.

Football is obviously a big part of people's lives but i agree with Ginger, it does take a back seat just now with everything going on.

Nonetheless it's still a big talking point and it will be interesting to see what comes of the meeting tomorrow.

I'd expect Britain will announce closures of pubs etc. this week too, Ireland and now a lot of the USA are doing so already.

Rooney really fecked me off with his times column. He actually had the nerve to moan about the footie authorities being driven by money..... The vast majority of us have to go to work whatever our concerns are, one month out of work and I’m screwed, as I’m sure many of us will be.

Here’s the gist of what he said, for those that haven’t seen it:-

Writing in his column in the Sunday Times, the former England captain said: "The rest of sport - tennis, Formula 1, rugby, golf, football in other countries - was closing down and we were being told to carry on.
"I think a lot of footballers were wondering, 'Is it something to do with money being involved in this?'. Why did we wait until Friday? Why did it take Mikel Arteta [Arsenal manager] to get ill for the game in England to do the right thing?
"After the emergency meeting, at last the right decision was made - until then it almost felt like footballers in England were being treated like guinea pigs.
"I know how I feel. If any of my family get infected through me because I've had to play when it's not safe, and they get seriously ill, I'd have to think hard about ever playing again. I would never forgive the authorities."
