See the mancs waited to see what we did before announcing.....
Have Manchester United signed up to the living wage yet?🤔

Yep, after watching Liverpool come out and say they’ll take advantage of the government furlough scheme, then get publicly berated, then do a 180 and change their minds, because that’s obviously what they really wanted to do in the first place, United thought, we’ll do the complete opposite
Manchester United:
Commit to pay 900 non-playing staff in full from their own cash reserves
Pledged all match-day staff full pay for the rest of the season
Players to donate 30% of their wage to NHS
Rashford donates 400k local schoolkids
DDG donates €300k to Madrid's NHS
Scousers, Spurs and the Magpies sell their soul instead and try poncing off the tax payer. We know who the real clubs are

Gonna be difficult finding a way to be a victim in that decision eh chief.
so United fans suddenly think their owners are saints. If you think they weren’t waiting to see what the fallout was from our own poor decision then you’re truly delusional.

Eh?
More to do with their discussions with the players rather than Liverpool.
Good move, it really doesn't seem to be a move that would effect the club that badly all things considered, so it's odd that some PL clubs aren't doing the same.
Anyone actually worked out the rough cost of covering furlough pay for PL clubs?
Glazer's and Woodward doing a great job

Where has anyone said that?
Spin doctoring at its worst!
Termite getting well wound up by United again.
If only his club had some kind of moral structure to fall back on.
I certainly don't think they are saints. And they may have waited for the Liverpool decision, though I doubt it.
But either way it was a good decision as was the players. So for once I'm proud of my club.
Yeah, United showing they are a people’s club unlike a certain club down the road!!

Well to get a simple number, although it wont be entirely accurate you can multiply the 900 people by £2500, which is the maximum I think. Which is 2.25m per month. Likely many would be getting less than this.

I think it was a case of agreeing what was happening with the players wages. The PL squad to agree to a reduction on their wages.

Also praising their players for protecting 70% of their wages in future.
Geniuses.
