Tunnocks is gearing up to reopen, I hear. So it’s not all doom and gloom.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It will be if they can't adhere to the social distancing and also sell to the thousands of small independent shops which remain shut.

And that's all before they manage to convince a now terrified workforce to return to work in the first place who will do everything they can to find something wrong and walk away knowing that they will be paid until the end of June no matter what.

As we have already seen with plod making the rules up, the next phase will be characterised by folk choosing to take offence at others who choose not to follow what is guidance only e.g. wearing face masks in certain places.

They already know they can't supply enough so are starting the campaign now on asking folk to use scarfs etc. even though weeks ago they derided that and said it was more of a health hazard.

Should be like garages with gloves & towels and supply free masks if you are going to be asked to wear them in shops, transport etc.

Shops should be so desperate for trade they ought to supply them free. Transport will not give one single fck.

I’ve just weighed myself for the first time in months.

In retrospect, I could do with them staying closed.

They can't get supply and now that the US is a huge country in significant demand I think it will be months before we are at an acceptable level.

Meanwhile everything else goes to the wall and more people die as a result of this "cure"
