Top 10 Biggest clubs in England

Some might, many wouldn’t. Arsenal are still considered a very big club, even if they are a bit shiiiiiit on the pitch. Same with United. And same with Liverpool for much of the last 30 years.

No it doesn't Wahl, it depends on how many fans you have around the world, success, wealth and history. I know why United are top, so should you.
In three words, Busby, Munich, Ferguson.

If Napoli were owned by City’s owners he’d go there as well. He’s all about the money.

I doubt it. He needs good players to inherit as well.

They’d have good players if they’d been funded by billionaires for ten years.

posted on 15/5/20

Ok but in ten years they’d become a big club if they were successful in that period.

Big is one thing but your article is biggest and top of that list is a club that has only really had success in the last 10 years, nothing more.

In the list somewhere? Yes. Top of the list? Absolutely not

Ok, I’ll bite.

Manchester United are the biggest club in England right? What indicator is their currently of that?

Do they have the best manager? No
The best players? No
The best team? No
The most success currently? No

What evidence is there that you can see currently that indicates that Man Utd are the biggest club in England currently?

How is that an indicator that they’re the biggest club?

So by big, you literally mean if you take every fan of every club and put them in like a massive container or something, the Man Utd fans would fill up the container more than any other club and that’s why they’re bigger than anyone else?

Ok so sticking to CURRENTLY only and ignoring our history and our vast success in competitions:

Highest value club in the league
Most amount of fans globally and England
Highest spending power
Highest average attendance
Highest revenues

posted on 15/5/20

And if you add our history, historical success etc - yes United are still the biggest club in the country. Even non united fans are agreeing to that - what does that tell you?????

posted on 15/5/20

Let’s go back to the year 2000. By the sounds of it even you would say that United were the biggest club in the country then.

Were Liverpool not a big club then? They didn’t have the best manager, best team or masses of recent success?

The answer is yes Liverpool were then and are now a very, very big club. Just like United now.

Even though Barca have the best team, players and better current success? I thought that was all that mattered.

1. utd
2. pool
3. probably chelsea. as harsh as that is to probably arsenal but they just havent had any impact really the last 10/15 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Agree with this and would argue that City may currently be ahead of Arsenal as well based on that pretty irrelevant last decade or so.

All debateable. Real Madrid have won the champions league multiple times recently.

They were much smaller than United at that point. But still bigger than average.
