In the present climate, with the respective state of each club and their potential buyers, and the 'esteem' (or otherwise) of each player, who would transfer for the most money...

Hmm... when you comment on Rangers' financies you're accussed of being a Kerrydale Accountant...
But everyone and their granny knows how badly Rangers are doing on the money side of things.
Shelling out £5M (or £4M on Hagi) in this climate, even paying it up is a gamble. Sure the Gers will free up wages and some cash from sales, but SG will have to be spot on with his buys.
Celtic are the old warhorse, been in battle many times and always come out winning. They will probably add Forster, Ely, Hickey and a few others whilst getting rid of three or four others, so it's business as usual for the champs.
Can't see anything other than Ten in a row next year, it really would take an absolute miracle for Rangers to dethrone them. That or a wee Dutch guy with a perm and nice smile.

Now, a lot behind the scenes I won't put here but nevertheless he asked away. They still talk about Andy Robertson. They talk also a lot about Forrest & KT. One is hushed tones.

It is a 4 year commitment, mate. They will not release him. TBH, I've known boys that were a bit academic and that became a 5 year commit to train. They will do their best on game time but no guarantees. They are at least fair on that aspect.
BB the SFA one is a shambles
My advice would be avoid it. Obviously I know the lad you are on about and in my opinion he should go to St Ninians. Last time I seen him play he was a stand out. His old team are getting their old players back so looking strong again
