this is stand up comedy???? the above would be a woeful list IMO.

eddie murphy had a great early rep but once he got into movies he vanished.

Its this simple. If Billy Connolly isn't on that list, forget it. theres lots of guys like like but the big yin has to be on the very top of the list for all time.

Disagree, take Murphy out because he was nothing but a Richard Pryor wannabe, take Martin because really? Stick Bill Burr in there and Ricky Gervais. Class top 5.

Not really sure how you could ever do a 'Stand Up GOAT", as humour is incredibly subjective.

I don't find Ricky Gervais funny, yet to so many he's absolutely hilarious.

I loved his Golden Globes performance, but they weren't really jokes, just stating obvious facts that made them so uncomfortable.
