If it was financial the the big picture is the treble brings in fook all in the scale of things. I don’t much lust after 10iar but winning the league gives a chance at the £35m or whatever and THAT is a pistol holy grail. Don’t give me pash about doing it the non-champions route.

It tells me either DD is calling the shots or they think the league is gone anyway? We should be going into that final with Hoopy as manager and still winning it.

I think as an outsider it would seem odd to have a Chief Exec be paid large sums if his job isn't to be the man in charge.
