The more the game went on the more it showed we were missing Jimenez, Traore and Podence. Rarely looked like scoring after the break

Err... No

Tough game. Lots of injuries to both sides. Could have gone either way. Credit to both sides.

Traore a massive miss

Good first half, where we moved the ball with tempo.

Poor second half, where we looked pretty toothless and just went through the motions.

Strange substitution to get the ball rolling for a change.

And people can get their panties in a bunch but feck me we have to drop Silva to the bench, he is out of his depth currently. Surely we could have set up in better ways than to play him out fecking wide

I would have thought the first substitutions would have been Vitinha and Cutrone on for MGW and Silva. Try to add some tempo and impetus to our play which was flagging. To bring Hoever on as a right winger for MGW was a strange decision, but pretty much sums up the safety first approach Nuno has.

I have no words other than these obviously

Desperately want Silva to succeed , there is a good player there, but his lack of pace is s concern and we surely have overpaid for him by some margin

Albion need to start winning a few

Silva was thrown under the bus a bit tonight. Made to play out on the left which isnt his natural position. To be fair to him, he worked really hard. I think he will come good, but he needs to be taken out the firing line for a few weeks.

We desperately need investment through the spine of the team though. We haven't improved our centre back, midfield or striker options since our first season in the Premier League. With an ageing Moutinho and a few injuries, it's no wonder we are beginning to struggle all round.

Leaking goals and not being able to score is not a good combination.

Scoring a goal a game leaves zero room for error
