Kohli should have asked the umpire to check for a no ball!!
What a lame ending to a completely nonsense of an innings close.
So we were basically out there to get Ashwin his "five for"

In the time England have facked about since tea I've had a shower emptied the dishwasher and hang the washing out
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You hung the washing out, as in outside?
It’s facking snowing !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not here it ain't it's nice here... cold I Grant you - but nice
Fack me we’re in the driving seat still here
Save the moaning for when we’re stranded tomorrow morning with them 8 down.

Benny we may be in the driving seat... But the destination is now a draw
Shame the game isn't on sky. Rob Key and Bumble would have been going nuts. Would have given us some entertainment.

Just done my calculations.
England win 70%
Draw 20%
India 10%
Just realised Rishi Persad is the presenter, he used to present snooker on the BBC.

The pace of the Buttler/Bess partnership was the really odd part of that innings. They basically blocked and kicked balls away for the best part of 10 overs. Felt like pure time wasting when we're the ones who are chasing the win.

That's how the bookies see it.
We were odds on to win an hour and a half ago. Now 11/8. Played our way out of a great situation.

Guessing you’re not backing England to take any wickets today then?
Because I can’t see them blocking out the whole day tomorrow with any wickets down.
Can this opening breathe under water
Thing is, this is the sort of intangible consequence of letting the game drift for 2 hours this morning. All the pressure has leaked away and the Indian openers, having had a couple of hours mucking around in the field having a laugh with no intensity, are now far more relaxed than if they'd spent 30-60 minutes chasing the ball around and feeling like the momentum was with England.
The ebb and flow of momentum is a huge part of Test cricket and it really feels like we let it slip this session. Pressure, even perceived pressure, does funny things to the mind
India going for the win, the way in which we batted did demonstrate that we worried about them chasing our score down.
At least that should means they should offer more chances as the game progresses.
