Unless of course you don’t think it’s a disgrace?

No idea what the other thread is but almost certainly more to this than meets the eye. Unlikely AZ would have given delivery assurances at the time of order placement as so much dependent upon approvals. Laugh at the German vvank saying it wasn’t effective but we demand you give us it.

They’ve clarified that mate. They meant that 8% of the sample was over 65. Not that it was only 8% effective in over 65’s.

I won't bother reading but i can assure you Pearce will be right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

In acknowledging that I was right as he’s agreed on the other thread?

Thanks
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not quite.

I acknowledged that elements of the EU covid procurement scheme had been "shambolic" but at the same time the commission are perfectly entitled to hold AZ to account in light of their contractual obligations.

Regretfully (and IMO there is the moral issue here) by limiting (or trying to) reduce AZ's exports to third countries this may have consequences for us in the UK.

For what it's worth I don't think it will come to that, and more funding will be given to AZ to aide with their supply/demand problems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes quite.

I stated that it was a disgrace that the EU entertained preventing our vaccines due to the suppliers failings with the EU.

You agree with that seeing as you suggested a far better conciliatory approach be adopted.

See? Easy this agreeing stuff isn’t it?

Easy peasy mate.

Just like the civilised discussions that take place on this site particularly

Brexit
Covid
Tories / SNP
Bojo
Football
In fact most topics 😂

Confirmed by AZ that the risks in production are written into the Eu contract and that their allocation is manf in EU and the U.K. allocation in U.K.

Not good enough, EU now want other people’s allocation. French bumping gums because they didn’t read the small print.
