Nuno on Jimenez: "He had a consultation and the results were amazing. It's too early still to say when he will be back, but he's working on his own and making very good progress." #wwfc

unusual for nuno to be so effusive - looking good for raul
to return this season

Would be amazing to see Raul play this season. And I think if he could just get some minutes in it would help him when he comes back to training for next season to have got those difficult first steps and physical challenges out of the way

Wolves have been linked with Ivan Toney a few times in the past and he’s certainly fulfilling his potential at Brentford this season. He scored his 23rd goal of the season tonight and Brentford are now top of the Championship and 21 games unbeaten

Only needs eight more goals to break the championship top goalscorer season record of Glenn Murrays with 30.

Just seen Nunos latest vid, he looks so much happier the last week or two, that can only be a good thing.

Agreed. I heard the “clear the air meeting” where they all agreed the long term solution was to play four at the back, has really strengthened the resolve of the playing and coaching staff. 👍

Nuno knows the way forward, but he has his hands tied with such a ridiculously small squad.

Reading that Southampton have had a few injury problems but will be back to close to full strength for the games against Wolves this week

That's not great news for us, at their best the scu mmers are very tough to beat. Minamino wont be able to play tonight as he's cup tied but will be available for the league game.

Saw an article today which compared the points each team in the premier league has this season compared to the points they had after the same number of games last season.

Liverpool are the biggest sufferers and have 27 points less than last season. Sheff Utd are 22 points down and Wolves are third biggest points down with 7. Really don’t think that’s any big deal at all considering the number of injuries.

Biggest gainers compared to last season are West Ham then Villa, Everton and Man Utd

Last time Wolves played Southampton at Molineux in the FA Cup we won 3-0. Mind you that was 1914. Don’t know what memories some of our older posters have of that game

I remember it was really busy in the Molineux Hotel bar before the game. Rushed off our feet. Big Albert the copper had to evict a few.

Just seen a tweet from Vitinha, "focused on the FA Cup" he says. Im guessing that means he's been told he'll start.

Have to say I’ve been a bit underwhelmed by Vitinha so far other than that goal at Chorley. Looks talented but not done enough. Bit of an MGW Mark 2.

Let’s hope he proves his worth in the next few months

He had one poor game (they all did) but I think he looks promising.

I find that quite amazing given how poorly we have been playing and given the terrible run we have been on. Shows how tight the prem can be but hard to compare seasons as each is entirely different in it's make up.

For example we have lost ten this term compared to five at the same stage last term. The bottom three all have fewer points than the bottom club last term. Villa have more points than we had at this stage and have played two fewer games etc.

I think any other season the b0ggie5 would have been relegated by now? There is a lot at stake tonight if we want to keep our season interesting.

A cup final really would be something.
