If they don't spend big to back their long-suffering manager, and I mean Haaland, Sabitzer/Graelish and Schuurs big, then they can fack off. They are not fit to maintain a club that has regular title winning ambitions.

Sokratis wouldn’t have actually been a bad signing for Liverpool as cover. He’s a decent defender, but often unfairly gets chucked into the same breath as calamity defenders like mustafi. He’s experienced and klopp knows him well. He can’t play out the back though, if you don’t get him to do that, he’s a decent CB

Liverpool left it until the last minute to buy a centre back only after knowing Matip was ruled out for the rest of the season. Knowing Van Dijk and Gomez were also ruled out for the rest of the season. It was just pure stupidity and I still don’t understand to this day why the 1st of January a centre back was brought it.

I think the club this season rested on its laurels. However hopefully with the pandemic it's an unique season, but I do strongly feel that the club have done more to help the manager.

I said it was a gamble during January not to spend, because failure to get into the CL could cost the club a lot more in the longterm.

I think this article makes a lot more sense than some of the other nonsense calling for Klopp's head. He clearly wanted a centre back and didn't get the one he wanted, hence it only being a loan deal for the Turkish fella. The lad from Preston seemed like a pure panic buy also.

I wouldn't outright criticise the owners, as the centre back or centre backs Klopp wanted may not have been available. But given the success Klopp has brought to the club, it's insane to point the finger of blame at him when your squad is stretched imo

The squad was full. We either had to by HG or U21, we did both and still some moan.

Like, I've still not heard where this extra money is supposed to come from. There's literally nothing in the accounts to suggest the owners are short changing us.

We could have taken out a loan, a few clubs did (Arsenal and Spurs for example) buy I'm not go i'll mg to moan about them not sebring us up during these times.
