I don't see why Rangers shouldn't fancy winning it
if we were playing as well as then and left in at this stage I'd be optimistic
a lot of ties in this round have 2 big hitters up against each other so there will be a few of the favs going out
could open up nicely

Overwhelming majority of the teams will be a step too far.

United are the best team in the competition but they regularly turn in dire performances and when they do well usually rely on big moments for players.
It will go up another level but the likes of Arsenal etc are no better than Benfica.
I think Europe definitely helps our domestic form.
This Rangers team has gears to go through and Europe brings the best out of us. Its not surprise to me that the first time we score a good few goals domestically in a while is sandwiched between Europa games.
There have just been wee bits of slackness in defence that we would normally get away with domestically but in this stage of Europe teams have the players to take advantage.
I also think in the last round the games were so open it was inevitable we were going to concede. We wouldn't have scored 9 if we hadn't opened up a bit in the games and took risks.
I think Rangers are already performing at their peak.
The idea of further ramping up the gears I believe is getting a fair bit too carried away. It's like seeking perfection and that's just not going to happen imo.

I think Rangers are performing at a very high level in Europe.
I think we have plenty more gears to go through domestically.
IMO it all became a bit of a grind in jan/feb because all we had to do was win 3 points and stand back and watch Celtic throw points away.
The intensity definitely went out our play for a bit. We were generally winning comfortably - well as comfortable as a 1 goal margin victory can be. But the spark did go a bit.
I think the Europa has hopefully brought a bit of that back.
I dont think we have played particularly well against Celtic yet this season either. Plenty more to come on that front hopefully.

And without going back through all the financial shenanigans yet again, that doesn't take the pandemic hint into any consideration whatsoever (see Celtic) nor the previous and ongoing requirement to take on millions of additional ex business funding to keep the business solvent. Those issues haven't gone away. The debt to equity transfer dealt with past years.

Win the Europa League
The absolute arrogance from some Rangers fans is laughable. You are winning the league after the worst performances from Celtic since Lou Macari was in charge. You beat the Belgian Ross County in the Europa League yet you think you are going to win the Europa LeagueAlready writing off a team capable of beating Leicester but because the team isn't a big name then it's easy. Never mind the rest of the teams in there.
As for the financial aspects - yes I'd expect £30-40M from CL. This is assuming your directors do not want their soft loans back. Also what loss has the club been running at over the past year? Celtic have been a well run business for a long time and have still seen a massive hit to the income. Celtic at least release their figures.
Look enjoy your first trophy in over ten years but don't go spunking your trumpet thinking you are now Galacticos immune to financial impacts (though you do have a history of walking away from debt)
