A difficult one to call - Watford have a few injuries and suspensions - hopefully that might play into our hands
Remember going to Vicarage Road in the late 80’s to watch Forest beat Watford 0:3 in the FA Cup - getting to the away end back then meant you had to trek your way through a load of allotments

That would stick in the memory, I've never been to Vicarage Rd.
After a drab 0-0 at the CG earlier in the season I’d settle for the same tomorrow. Watford are still pretty erratic but sit in a good place in the table. For ages I’ve been waiting for us to click in front of goal and actually take at least a couple of the chances we’ve created, that optimism is starting to fade. I don’t see much in tomorrow’s game but realistically expect Watford to edge it. A pony would be welcome, a win unexpected but if neither of those then at least a performance similar to the one at Swansea. Basically points collected over the next five games are beginning to look like a bonus. I would think Murray may start on the bench as I feel he may have something to prove, a fresh Murray for the last 20 could be a handful. Yates back into midfield and Ameobi out wide with Bong back in for Ribs. I was fairly optimistic before Luton but now realise we still have that kind of dysfunctional display in us, concede first and we seem to lack a ‘plan B’, also worrying is the lack of impact from CH’s substitutions, particularly leaving a very tired Murray out there. Watford to nick this by the odd goal, probably 1-0.
That’s a very honest and sobering assessment dave - my heart says a possible Forest win, my head agrees with your stance
Bear, "Chris Hughton needs to earn his corn" you say; but I think CH has been doing that; it is the 'strikers' who need to earn their corn. 3 goals in six games against not very good teams is very poor. They need to step up starting today. If we score today, we have a chance of some sort of result. We can't carry on relying on the defense to keep a clean sheet every week.
I’m actually more confident of getting something from one of the big guns as it happens.
7 points from the next 5 would be great.
At minimum if we can get a point a game from the next 5 that should still be okay.

We are definitely more suited to playing 'big' teams away, than smaller teams at home

" Ivan Toney scored 24 goals last season for Peterborough United."
This season Clarke-Harris has scored 21 in 31 for Peterborough. Not sure McAnthony will deal with Forest; but if he will get him. Make him/them an offer they can't refuse
Samba
Christie, Figs, Worrall, Bong
Yates, Garner
Knockaert, Krovinovic, Freeman
Murray
Subs: Smith, Mbe Soh, Colback, Ameobi, Jenkinson, Cafu, Lolley, Blackett, Taylor.
Back seven is fine; not sure about the front four though. Looks like another Forest Nil
Good assessment Reddave, and close with your team selection. I'd have left Murray on the bench as well.
Slightly surprised Freeman kept his pace I think he has been quite poor, the next interesting question is will Figs make way for McKenna when he gets fit, I actually feel a bit for Figs, other players make as many mistakes as him, yet his always seems to lead to conceding a goal. Again we have quality on the bench but do any of them offer a change ?? Imo no.
I'd forgotten it was a 1230 KO!
There are very few goals in that starting eleven, but unfortunately no more on the bench either.
Impressive start from Watford, very comfortable on the ball.

We’re not bad either Dave.
We’re not bad, a bit too casual, but Watford are winning the 50/50’s

Game over!! Won’t come back from this I don’t think. Dont have enough going forward and Watford now more relaxed and confident.
Straight through Samba’s legs, Bong having an absolute mare already.
Bong is awful getting beat by Sar every time. Knocks walking back not tracking him man. Just woeful all round.

No, we’re not as fluid as Watford, but we’re much improved from the headless chickens running around at the start of the season. That is evident.
Worrall,is having to play two positions, his own plus bailing Bong out.
