irreplaceable mate.
Don't fancy McGregor as the new captain tbh but we've not many options there. Ajer the standout but unfortunately the big man will be away aswell no doubt.
Really mental to think the task at hand with this rebuild. No exaggeration to say we are going to need at least 10 players in

aw easy 10 players unless we give Shved etc a chance
I'd hope Hendry might be given another chance under a new manager, clearly has potential.
I like the look of Welsh....just think he's lacking in height a wee bit.

Not happening, mate.
Boys like Welsh epitomize the attitude that is needed.
How come re Hendry? We'll be severely short on CBs and he's done really well by all accounts in Belgium so surely he should be given the chance in pre season? Saves a fee right away if he can prove himself
Still wear the 'Brazil style' away top from his second season with his name n' number on the back round the house and for kickabouts.
Apart from the fact I tumble-dried it once, still in good nick albeit it's gone from being loose fitting to stretched 😂 (adding 5+ stone and a beer belly will do that).
Club legend 👏
He's entering the last year of his contract plus his valuation is the highest its ever been. He didn't have the confidence of the support so first mistake he'll be the fall guy. Too much risk to give him a new contract plus I'm not sure he's good enough - my trusted source never rated him as he did Welsh.
They'll cash in.
fair enough. Potentially he will be here in pre season though whilst we get new recruits. May have the chance to show a new manager what he can do. I'm sure I read Kennedy talking him up a few weeks back too
Hendry had a couple of poor games early on and the boo boys rounded on him and he completely lost confidence. For his sake he's better out of it.
"Met" him at a hotel/sports health retreat a few years ago. Top guy, well ripped. He played a game of football with his kids and a load of little kids aged "6-12" in a sports hall quite the thing, knowing the kids would get a buzz out of playing with the Scotland captain. No shocking challenges from him.
Hendry is playing in a league where Antwerp were classed as defensively sound ffs.
He’s still sheidt.
We’ve known it’s been happening for a while, but it’s still sad to see him leave. My son pointed out that he can’t remember another Celtic captain lifting a trophy since he started watching the games.
He wasn’t the most gifted footballer, but he adapted his game and was an incredible team player. He also got a hard time-unfairly on many occasions-from our own fans.
He’s averaged a trophy every 28 games apparently-an incredible record for anyone-if that’s true.
Wouldn’t have minded if he’d stayed on in a coaching capacity with us, but might be best for his development if he can do that elsewhere.
He’ll be a difficult captain to follow.
I think that possibly, this is my favourite-ever Scott Brown moment. And he hadn't even signed for us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPM_8JCyY-4
My favourite memory was him dishing it out to Lenny and Bobo at Easter Road. You knew he had balls if nothing else.
