You can't argue with his trophy haul, he's by all accounts a really nice guy off the park too.

But for me on the park he lacked the class and dignity of previous Celtic captains. He came across as a whank.

I'm sure that won't bother him while he's cleaning his medals though

It actually marked the beginning of an extremely long dark winter for the Bears. The 'for every fiver Celtic spend we'll spend ten', arrogant boast was just about to implode in really spectacular fashion. Remember the hedges??

And, Broonie played a HUGE part in it.
