Where does the home advantage come from?

Perhaps it comes from the home team not getting travel sickness on the team bus! 😂

Maybe is because the players get back home in time for tea and and a leg over?

The missus always seems happier when I’m going to a home game rather than an away trip. Maybe that’s why

We might get an explanation in a couple of hours, when Wolfgang has finished eating his dinners. 🐷

Found this quite interesting:
Declan Rice has revealed he has picked up leadership skills working with Conor Coady on England duty that he has taken back and tried to add to his game at West Ham.
Coady has had a big impact in the England squad and the Wolves captain has clearly made an impression on Rice.
"I am only 22," said the West Ham midfielder. "I come here and I am playing with people who have played in the Champions League final, won trophies, won Premier League titles, you kind of take a step back and pick up little different bits from different people.
"Conor, I have never actually been in a dressing room with him. So to see him and see the impact he has on the squad on the team inside, it is people like him that you need in your changing room.
"Stuff like that I have taken away and tried to take to West Ham to add that to my game as well."

Bit of a kick in the gonads for Harry Kane eh?

That having been said, Coady is on the bench tonight with the donkey Maguire getting to start. As Vivian said in the film Pretty Woman, "Big mistake, huge"

Poland often play 3 at the back so I thought we might match them and do the same, which would have given Coady the chance to play in his best position.

Lewandoski out injured tonight and he’s Poland’s only top class player, so England should win with a couple of goals to spare

Maguire looks like he’s got a mistake in him tonight. If he was still at Leicester, he wouldn’t be in the England team.

I swear the only reason that Southgate picks Sterling is to win penalties. He's right up there with Grealish for polished diving performances. Other than that he's selfish, makes poor decisions, is woeful at passing and pretty predictable so I really cannot see any other reason to play him.
Or to put it another way, would I swap him for Pedro Neto? Not a chance!

Stones makes amends with an assist for the donkey's goal.
Don't quite know how they managed a win there. If Lewandoski had been fit it might have been a different story

England finished bottom of their group in the U21s euro championships last night. Portugal won the group after beating Switzerland 3-0 last night. Vitinha set them on the way with an assist after 3 minutes

They are now through to the quarter finals where they will play Italy, Cutrone et al, at the end of May

If it were possible to embarrass Wolfgang further still, a topical article has appeared on the BBC web-site highlighting the reasons behind the why empty grounds have destroyed home advantage.

Came through the Wolves academy and made the first team squad, although never played, remaining on the bench.

I think we've not seen enough of him to justify £16m but by that token 16m isn't a lot these days is it

By all accounts Tino, Vitinha's permanent signing is already a done deal.

Reports that Lukaku may leave Inter Milan at the end of the season and Rafa Mir is one of the players they would be looking at as a replacement. Wolves would evidently be looking for around £20m
