My only comment on this will be all IMO that has to be said.
The vast majority of Rangers Fans are just that football fans, the fact the club is so well supported means that there is a huge number of idiots that really are horrible, the anti-catholic stuff and anti-irish stuff is simply in this day and age appalling.
I personally have got into many arguments with fellow Celtic fans over my distaste with the pro I RA stuff, so it is 100% not onsided.
Yesterday was a joke given the times we live in would Celtic fans have done the same 100% yes.
The difference for me and I am happy to be told I am wrong is that there is a large number of Rangers Fnas who feel threatened by the world moving on and removing their self thought privilege.
Its not 100 or 1000 its 10s of 1000s and that is the problem, so many good guys I know are bears but as much as they are the majority there is a very large number of idiots.
No one Catholic or Protestant or Jew or Muslim or whatever should have to walk around their streets hearing chants of F TP, no kids should be asking what is that all about.
Its an age old debate and in all honesty until they stop the schite on both sides it will dig on and on and on.
2 Rangers legends carried Tam Burns to his grave, that was so close to apathy about the whole rivalry and it lasted 2 seasons. We are back to being miles apart.
I was not offended by yesterday just disappointed, thats worse, my wife is Church of Scotland we are good friends with her minister, she has a laugh with my Priest, can we just not let it go?
If you take away that element of yesterday its just idiots being idiots but that slant makes it and Glasgow an embarrassment its 2021 and we still have to endure the roll of honour and the famine song I despair.
I hope the vast majority of Rangers fans yesterday had a good day the numpties I hope are feeling ashamed.

I've got no time for the Irish Republic nonsense at football but please don't equate it with the anti Catholic and Irish bile that we have to endure. It's not the same, not even close. I know for a fact that I have been discriminated against for having a surname that begins O'. My wife has been spat on for having the temerity to wear green on St Patrick's day. Both sides of the divide have issues but they are not the same. I applaud Nicola Sturgeon for addressing the open anti Catholic bigotry. I just hope she follows up on it.

When has Ivan, or anyone for that matter, ever suffered his team being the most successful team in the country one summer, to potentially not having a league to play in, having about 6 players on its books and basically having to hold trials the following summer
I’ll say it again, belittle it all you want....you have no idea
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Late to the party but got to this point and thought I'd jump in and give a retort.
Barry Smith (or whatever he's calling himself this week) has seen his club go into administration twice, be saved twice (by their own fans might I add), be given a 25 point deduction that was not in the rule book, and that was designed to relegate them.
For the entirety of Barry's life he's had to live with United being a better team. We won the league at Dens ffs. And fluck me do we let them know about it. We call them the Fun, and literally refer to them as the wee team. It's constant and unavoidable as a Dundee fan that they will get stick from United fans.
And then five years ago they relegated us in the Doon Derby. What a moment for them. All those years of abuse and they got their revenge. To say this was a massive moment for them is an understatement. This was better than any cup win for them, it was their opportunity to get it right up us dabs.
Do you know what we did after the game. We went to the pub and they gave us a hard time, then we had another pint.
So fluck right off with this "every other team would be the same". They wouldn't.

When has Ivan, or anyone for that matter, ever suffered his team being the most successful team in the country one summer, to potentially not having a league to play in, having about 6 players on its books and basically having to hold trials the following summer
I’ll say it again, belittle it all you want....you have no idea

Hard to "damage" Dundee in fairness
