Read theyre willing to accept less than what the paid us for him in addons
A side struggling for cash will just want him off the wage bill, they'll cut their losses with him.
Would Liverpool even want him now?
His salary is rumoured to be anywhere between 15 and 25m a year? So makes sense

Less than 20m and a 100k wage cut and we might begin to consider it.
No for me. Too many injuries and those with his knee. Has been poor ever since he left us with the odd rare flashes in the CL. He's in decline. I'd rather keep Shaq.

You'd rather have Shaq over Coutinho?!

Tbf seems quite reasonable with the points he’s raised. He’s averaged about 11 starts in the league the last 4 years

The Coutinho of today is no different to Shaq. Shaq gives you injuries with much less wages.
We should be looking for someone much better and younger.

I would definitely take him back. Gave us what, 7-8 years of top service even during some awful times and always gave 100%. I know the Barca thing soured things for some but it was always his dream and we got crazy money.

Five years!
I want us to keep Shaqiri too.

I’d take him back, but wouldn’t want the club to go out of their way.
He could’ve waited until the season ended but he forced a move and look how that’s worked out for him.
I don’t want Shaq or Coutinho. I’m not bothered about how Coutinho got his move, but he’s history now. There’s no doubt he’s on a downward curve and is nowhere near the player he was with us. It would be a regressive signing for us and one the club are very unlikely to make imo.
That he possessed top class quality is beyond doubt. Whether he’s still got it is another question. Maybe it was the case that at LFC, the team played around him bringing his talents to the fore.
Did he get the same treatment the same service at Barca, or Bayern from his team?
Take him back? Who to drop to make room for him?
He clearly didn’t endear himself to the club, manger, team, fans, etc., by the manner of his leaving, like little Mikey before him, and memories are long. But the money got for him was well spent, very well spent.
That all having been said, I can’t see Jurgen taking him back.

Would signal the end of Thiago.
Heard Robbo has gone from 40k to 70kpw? Why would Coutinho command 3x that?
