It wasn't pretty but it was enough to get the job done and that is what is important at this stage.

I'm pleased for Southgate. All the criticism he came in for him before the tournament (myself included) and I did think it was justified at the time, but he has got a lot of decisive decisions correct this tournament, we should all credit his backroom staff, Steve Holland, Chris Powell and Graeme Jones, as well as they have a responsibility for this as well.
