How long tomorrow before Celtic trot out the "we tried to make a couple more signings but the timing and logistics worked against us"?

prepping myself for the "we have had a great window!" replies mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You need to consider
We've brought in
Hart
MccCarthy
Furahashi
Abada
Scales
Juranovic
Shaw
And likely a new centre forward and winger at the very least
That's quite a lot for one transfer window
Ange will need at least 3 transfer windows to get his team and squad as he wants
______________
Would agree with this. Still think we are 1 or 2 light but overall it's been a good window for incomings and it's clear we need another window or 2 to shape the squad. Frustrating as it is.
I think Scales will be a good signing btw, going well under the radar and everyone writing him off becuase of where hes coming from. Will add some much needed height to the side aswell.

He's well thought of in Ireland that's for sure to be sure!!
He doesn't have much standing in the way of him and a starting berth let's face it

Only seen McCann in a few of St Johnstone's games (finals and euro qualifiers).
Head and shoulders their best player (goalie no far behind him).
From the little I've seen of him, he has a great work rate and gets stuck in despite no being the biggest, and is decent on the ball. If he keeps improving he'll be a cracking midfielder. Worth a punt, even if we were to loan him back for a season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hes brave on the ball and very good link up play from what ive seen. And playing with better players i think he would be a stand out. Like you say, energetic, exactly what we need. But for £2-3m its a no brainer....but yes.....we will offer £1.2m and say we tried
Scales a lb or cb mainly?
i have considered that CT but a lot has left.
can we stop talking about scales like he's going right into the first team , when has a player ever came from there and done that?
we have let so much go in the last 12 months and havent replaced them.
eddie replaced by this greek dude? cmon man.

Poor Urhoghide not even a mention.
Surprised it's only 3 players in that cost decent money. Kyogo, Abada and Juranovic.
No surprise they are the three that look the part so far. I'm being kind on Juranovic but you lot liked him.

He's played most of the last year at left wing back, where he'll be deployed for us I reckon
first team mate.
what reason is there to think hes going right into first team.
has anyone actually watched him??
Was listening to a podcast with a journalist on who reckons inside the club the thoughts are the 2 Sheffield Wed guys are no better than our own youngsters. Lawal good prospect though

Given Taylor is average and we've spent £600k on him, and that he's a left back, tall, athletic, gets good reviews and looks good on the footage I've seen...............like any signing we make that's why I think he'll play and probably why the club have signed him. He's 23 aswell, not a teenager who you would assume would go to dev squad, he can;t play for them so he's been signed for the first team
Aye, from what I've seen and heard Bosun Lawal looks a good one, can see him getting a few chances for the first team this season.
has anyone actually watched him??

Seen him score a nice goal for Shamrock Rovers in their last Euro game. He looked a decent player
