Hopefully it's a ploy to get Poch to tell PSG he wants out.
Can’t say I’d be especially excited about this.

Why not?? He was quite successful and underrated during his time with Barcelona
Underrated perhaps, but also pretty dull in terms of the football, basically relying on Messi's genius to dig them out whenever they were in trouble. He also oversaw the Rome and Liverpool disasters.
His signing would probably make Ronaldo and Pogba happy though. He's a fairly accomplished photographer.
I knew little of him so looked him up last night when the rumours started circulating. Lots of experience in Spanish football, including multiple stints at Bilbao (where he played) and Olympiacos, also managed Valencia and Villarreal. Won the league twice at Barcelona but derided by fans for ugly football. I take the latter with a pinch of salt as they are particularly precious about the Barca way. Apparently, he's very pragmatic about what style of football to deploy: can be high press, can be more reactive, uses different formations to suit the situation and squad. The latter sounds like a good thing for an interim manager.
I heard that he tends to delay substitutions.
I don’t know much about Valverde

I thought everybody had heard about Valverde.
Does he have any training methods that can teach a group of players like ours how to keep possession of the ball for more than 3 passes?

Who?

Why does that not surprise me that you have no idea who he is. 😁
He only managed FC Barcelona for a few years. Not some little club in Timbuktu.
You guys are gonna feck this whole process up aren't you
Once the City/PSG match is over I expect the Poch process to speed up. His words earlier gave the game away. My Christmas dream is so close to coming true 😎😎
BBC ran a story on this yesterday, so obviously some substance in it. I think its a decent move for the interim manager. Starting to look to me more like we want Ten Hag as the permanent manager.

What makes you think we'll get Ten Hag at the end of this? This is the United board we're talking about. Plus, Ten Hag won't get the structure he has at Ajax or even anything resembling it. So it would certainly be a risky, though possibly very rewarding move.
Poch is 11 points clear in Ligue In by the way. Sounds like a winner to me. If you're going to mock him for not winning trophies whilst ignoring the fact that the clubs he was at never win trophies, then you must also praise him for winning with a team that also wins. That's the problem with branding someone a loser or a winner without any context.
