the only reason we're annoyed is because we care about the integrity of the game. You don't, that's fine.

So in the interests of the integrity of the game you're wound up about the one game Arsenal had called off, but none of the others?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it’s based on the reasoning for the postponement for one covid case
Basically it’s was postponed as you weren’t happy with the squad you had due more to international call ups and injuries
If you can’t see that as a reason for frustration then okay
It was ridiculous though ….the game didn’t suit you at the time so you requested a postponement
It was not due to covid which is the problem
Well, it was due to a mix of covid and injuries. We only had one active case but we had quite a lot of cases in that month so we still had people recovering or getting injured after, which is covered in the considerations.
I expect you guys to hate us and be annoyed with it, but we used the exact same rules everyone else used to get their games postponed and we only did it once, after we got boned in our first game of the season for not taking advantage of it..
Like I say, I expect irrational hate, but to say it's about the integrity of the game is just laughable and deluded.

Of course it’s about the integrity of the game. Arsenal shouldn’t have been able to get the game postponed, they exploited a bit of a flaw in the process because they were scared to play us with a weakened team.
That said, I’m pretty sure any other PL team would’ve attempted the same if in the same position. The problem originated with those who created the rules rather than any individual club.
So yeah, the integrity of the game is entirely the issue.
But only when arsenal do it 🤔

Spurs fans confidently forgetting they have a far superior team now to the time of the original fixture when Son, Dier and Romero were out and Bentancaur and Kulashaker were still at Juve.
In truth, the only reason you lot are annoyed is because the PL didn't let you play our u18s. Because you are shiiit scared of our first XI after the reverse fixture.

Spurs didn't care about the integrity of the game when they tried to manipulate the fixtures to ensure they played Rennes after Vitesse played their game.
Spurs got Brighton game postponed then asked for the Leicester game to be called off in order to get a favourable run of home fixtures after Conte couldn't buy an away win.

I agree that the rule wasn't that well thought out, but it's a weird situation where we're all dealing with covid for the first time trying to get through it. I think that the integrity of the game is in question for many reasons, but not for this temporary rule in unusual circumstances.
No cries about sporting integrity when Arsenal weren't allowed to postpone games at the start of the season. A full strength XI would have picked up points in one of the opening three games. Instead we've been playing catch up all season.
oh poor little arsenal with their one game a week for ages
When the authorities bent over and postponed the Varpool game to help their darlings out, they then had no choice but to do the same for Woolwich. Of course, the team that suffered because of it was Spurs.

One month? Assenal had 6 months off!
And NLD postponed on the basis of 1 Covid incident, and not having players because they sent them on loan. Dude, your club is a disgrace really.
Arteta has to literally cheat his way round to get the manager of the month by bypassing the Spurs game and playing 1 of the top 6 sides. Played Liverpool, 100% record:
Top 6 games Played 1 lost 1.
PS: The curse of the Manager of the month is largely looming now
