Great signing for them. Fair play. No idea what we are up to.

Surely, it is a fair question to ask as I feel like by them signing him, we have dodged a bullet, specially at the fee they paid for him, £45m for a bit part player is a lot of money.

Would've been a silly signing for Spurs and the player. Big money, a guy who no doubt wants first team football but wouldn't get close to starting ahead of Kane or Son
Decent signing and definite upgrade on what they had this year. Will be interesting to see how he does.
Hope we sign Richarlison as our utility forward option. Not sure Jesus would have covered the three roles well enough.

Agree totally, and for a while, when the rumours were rife that Jesus is being linked with us, I was worried that Levy may sanction the move!
If you think City scored around 99 goals last season and only 9 of them scored by Jesus, shows you the guy isn't the right front man to lead a team. Not a s 20 goals a season striker!
Also think Jesus will cost just a shade less than Erling Haaland, makes you think who is getting the raw end of the stick?
Good signing for them in a position they need who also brings some strong experience. He'll get 20 goals in all comps I reckon.

I was against him signing for us as he's always seemed an underwhelming player to me. Might get you goals but usually while the game is already won.
Will just have to hope he's better than expected.
The Haaland deal is a bit of a special case, the fee was almost irrelevant. It came down to which side he wanted to play for as every club in the world would've moved heaven and earth for him and the buyout was low.
Good player but more of an impact player of 5th-10th league position / Europa striker
So suits Arsenal well
Reminds me of Wilson/Ihenacho. Just that one tier below elite and always will be
Rich Atkinson is in that mediocre bracket too
Don’t think they’re worth the combined 100m floating about (nor do I think Sterling is worth £50m)
Us Arsenal and spurs could all end up with one each

the Haaland reference is true and it is a bit of a special case as the fee seems little contrived. However, £45m for a bit part player seems a lot n the current market.
The Arsenal pull was obv having Arteta and Edu there, but I am guessing he must have had assurances from Arteta of a guaranteed start which is a deal sealer in a World Cup season.

Is there enough of them to go around?
Jesus will be in the top 5 PL goalscores next season.
They'll be saying he's a bargain this time next year.
probably will score a few goals and should secure them 5th. we remain better than them in every single position
Jesus has now retired from CL.football.
I am surprised at the lack of activity from Newcastle.
I was expecting them to make outrageous bids for everyone but only Pope so far.
Pope and Jesus on the move then
Here we go is so cringe.
Better create myself a tag line, yes here we go which doesn't really fit but it will do.
Pretty average player in the grand scheme of things. Only looked half decent because he was at City. I expect him to do very little at Arsenal, if he has indeed signed.

Think he’d have been a decent option for Spurs. It a starter but as a backup across the front line, and I think he’d be a better backup for Kane than either of the other two Brazilians were linked with, even though I rate those two as better players overall.
Think he’ll do ok for Arsenal. Nothing earth shattering but should be solid.
