Think he’d have been a decent option for Spurs. It a starter but as a backup across the front line, and I think he’d be a better backup for Kane than either of the other two Brazilians were linked with, even though I rate those two as better players overall.

Think he’ll do ok for Arsenal. Nothing earth shattering but should be solid.

Pretty average player in the grand scheme of things. Only looked half decent because he was at City. I expect him to do very little at Arsenal, if he has indeed signed.

Well, he is not average Sandy otherwise he won't be in that City team and Pep won't have him sat on the bench, being average.

He is a very skilled player but he is NOT prolific and won't get Arsenal 20 goals a season.
I think Arteta will weak their system to ensure Jesus starts every game, which is what I think swayed the deal.

He could slot in to the left of front 3 Nketiah in the middle, and Saka on the right.

My guess. Though he ain't worth £45m sorry.

Am sure Jesus will do ok for them but not really fuzzed about him. When you play Man City he was never one that put fear into me. I would always hope the likes of Mahrez, de Bruyne , Bernardo silva were not on the pitch.

If they get the defender Martinez from Ajax and Leeds Raphinha , there Squad would definitely be improved.
Martinez is quality.

I agree with most of that but the fee is not that bad at all for a 25yr old , PL winning striker. good strikers are hard to find nowadays. Also, he'll be in the middle of the 3 imo, we have enough guys on the sides.

He's a striker than won the PL rather than a PL winning striker if we're honest.

Good in spells at City but never prolific, was that because he can't be or because he couldn't get a long run as the main man. Arsenal are waging 45m on it being the latter.

In the current striker market there were far worse options. I think he will be good but you will also be looking for a genuine no9 next summer.

Maybe we are looking at different types of market, because for £45m you can get these players:

Patson Daka (£18m)
Arsenal ex-academy Donyell Malen (£25m)
Odsonne Edouard (£15m)

For me, they would suit Arteta's formation but I think Arteta went with his heart on Jesus.

A decent genuine no9 tends to want CL unfortunately, refer this to Valahovic.

Nah, most of them wanna win stuff and play regularly, not everyone wants to take part in a comp they ain't going to win.

Total neutral, but that's pretty much my thoughts on Jesus as well. He'll certainly add far more work rate & energy up top than either Auba or Lacazette.

I think he’s a good signing for them but let’s face it, he’s a striker that couldn’t get into a team with no other striker competitors.

Did he ever hold down a regular spot at City? And if he was that good, they wouldn't be letting him go.

They just bought Haaland, that's probably the main reason they let him go.., not about his ability to do the job.

He will be an upgrade on Crapazette but will be feeding off less chances than at £ity, and I'm not sure he is all that clinical a finisher
