Yeah... all makes sense. Really hope Spence & Perisic can provide a real attacking threat from the WB positions. Given how strong the spine of the side looks, some decent delivery from wide areas given our attacking threat should really get the most from Conte's 3-4-3 preference
Would just like to see us sign some kind of attacking midfielder which would allow us to have a plan B/ If we are chasing a game or against sides that come to park the bus.... Would be fine with a Madison, Depay type (Assuming GLC and Ndombele are done at Spurs)
Seeing as Ndom, GLC, Winks and Reg didn't go on tour we can assume they will be gone come September when the window closes.

Sounds like Spurs are trying for a loan deal with Fiorentina for GLC, Expect Reggie to get sold back to Spain, Can see Winks at Leicester if Tielemanns goes (Or maybe Everton, Lamps is a fan).... The big problem is Ndombele (Massive fee, huge wages & a shlt attitude. Cant see us selling him, I fear best case will be a loan to get some of wages of the books
Read that Lyon have dropped their price for Lucas Paqueta & that Spurs are interested... Dunno anything about him

Agreed... Just don't see a role for a young, lightweight winger playing in a new league in Conte's preferred set up. Seems better suited in a 4231 formation (Bit like Bergwijn)... Talented but not someone Conte would look to sign as a player coming in. Bit like Royal (Decent traditional RB but never in a million years a WB, technically bellow avg and has terrible delivery in attacking areas

Might be all about the media presentation, which clubs now seem to put as much into as the actual signing. With Levy and Conte in S.Korea and therefore unable to be in the video, perhaps they cant shoot the new signing video until they are back.
Or perhaps they don't want to share the limelight with the new Arsenal signings presentation.
Agreed.... I suspect Lenglet was not a first choice target so I suspect money might be spent on another Left sided CB and an attacking midfielder/No 10 type. Key to this window has been signing players that were needed and fit the system without spending a fortune.... Perisic, Lenglet, Spence & Bissouma.... I think that's given us a great deal of flexibility to go after guys like Richy (whether we needed him or not is mute point, but it improves the overall strength of the squad in whats gonna be a challenging season (CL, World Cup and teams having 5 subs)
Fair play to Levy, Paratici and Conte.... They have had a excellent summer

Best thing about that side is that there are some nasty B@stards in there managed by a guy like Conte. Spurs will not be a push over this season. You could already see a change in attitude in the way we handled the run-in last year and now with Guys like Romero, Dier, Bentancur, PEH, Perisic, Richy & Kane.... There's a lot "street smarts" in that side... It might not always be free flowing football but I don't think many sides will enjoy playing against that lot
