You've got to love the Spurs fans on here. All of a sudden they think they are going to finish second this coming season.

So everybody reckons LFC's transfers have made them 21 points weaker, and Spurs transfers 21 better off ?

LFC and Man City are not just about the players, but it's about the whole ethos, right through the club. This does not happen over night. Or over one season, or even half a season in Conte's case.

Spurs will be top 4, although everybody bar Utd have strengthened, but it will be a fight.

This is my prediction

LFC
MCFC
CFC
AFC/THFC, I cannot split them.

Well we don't need you to be 21 points weaker and us to be 21 points stronger to finish above you for a start.

If the referees do their jobs properly (unlikely), Varpool will be nowhere near the title. Remove the 20 or so underserved points they trouser every season through benefit of doubt officiating, and you get their true level. It's the same with Penited.

No offence mate but I just don’t think this is a valid argument. There is no way Liverpool got ‘20 points’ from incorrect referee decisions. Simply not true. In this age of media and tv scrutiny (and VAR) there is no room for bias from officials, every decision they make is scrutinised to the nth degree.

Teams may get lucky once or twice, but everyone benefits, and we’re quick to forget where we have had the rub of the green.

They’re simply excellent teams. Not insurmountable, but they’re both absolute quality.

You dropped those points when VVD was injured a couple of seasons back.

If VVD and Haaland both pick up significant injuries and Kane and Son don’t then Spurs will have a chance at the title this season.

The games all about opinions - some of them you won’t like

Don't be deluded. Unless both City and Liverpool fall off a cliff, the winner of the Prem will have around 95 points or more and Spurs will not be racking up anywhere near that. Spurs will do well to get 80 points for the season.

Yeah right, how many Varpool players were let off red cards last season alone, they had players let off clear red cards in both games v City for a start, 2 games which they drew and would likely have lost had they been down to 10 men, that is a 6 point swing on City and 2 undeserved points right there, courtesy of the officials. The same thing happened in both their games v Chelsea, Mane let of a red card in the first minute and major game changing decisions going their way, again 2 draws in games they deserved to lose and another points swing. I could go on and on, you should open your eyes pal.
