Sanchez is awkward, clumsy and prone to brain farts.
I remember how he swept the ground with his face when Gundogan did him and made him look like a fool. That's what is going to happen if he ever faces very good players. Yesterday, he got done like a Kipper by an average player who knew Sanchez would lunge and played for the pen.
Could have cost us the game, but luckily Kane got us back level quickly.
Sanchez could have got us goals, but that's all. Could have, and didn't.
When Romero came in for him, we looked solid and the team trusted their defenders more.
I fear Sanchez will be done by Jesus in the NLD if he were to play ahead of Romero. Maybe why Conte was trying to rest him but had to put him on because of weakness in Sanchez.
I think we cannot go in that NLD, thinking Arsenal are an average side and bully weaker sides. We have to go into it with the aim to finish the business and win the game.
It's a good opportunity to put some daylight with them and shake their confidence, like we did in the last NLD.
We must up the tempo and press them from the start. Not let off until the final whistle.
They are with a massive belief that they can win the the whole thing, and we have to do the business.
Comparing Sanchez and Romero in that game isn’t a good comparison, the system was completely changed when Romero was brought on and had Royal protecting him.
Sanchez had no protection from the fullback and Perisic did a poorly timed lunge and left Sanchez open.
The tackle he tried to pull out but if you watch the Leicester player he sees him and does step in to him just before contact is made.

Well, not really. The Chelsea game was the toughest. They raise their game for us, and they are usually a very good outfit.
Of course, Arsenal will feel they are the better side and entitled to brag a bit since they are ahead by a single point, but Spurs have more than enough to dismantle Arsenal, and in the attacking end, we have finishers who have all scored in the NLD, like Son and Kane.

We learnt absolutely nothing about Arsenal today.
I was astonished at how poor Brentford (who normally put a real shift in) were and I hope they play like that when we are the visitors.

We made them poor. They were starved of the ball for long periods and could not deal with our rotations.
We did the same to Manu for 25 minutes in the second half but got caught in transitional periods- a tactic Conte will surely be looking to deploy.
I look forward to Oct 1. Hope you bring your A game as you will need it.

Spurs have far to many good players for Arsenal. Most would walk into your side. I expect Spurs to win comfortably.
I love your blind optimism, Sandy.
Personally, I don’t think we have a hope at the Emirates.
We’ve both had a generous fixture list up until now. And although we’ve both been picking up points, you can’t deny that they have done so in a far more convincing manner.
If we continue with 2 in midfield, they’ll run rings around us.

LOL Spurs didn't break sweat, the last time the two teams met. Easiest Spurs win of the season. Arsenal are flat track bullies. I see absolutely nothing that will worry the current Spurs team.

The same way we beat you easily at the Emirates the last time the derby was played there.
The game is at the Emirates. We are playing well. You are getting results without dominating the opposition.
It will not be an easy game; but I pick us.

Would only take Kane and Son.

I hope Conte realises some games we need to take teams by surprise. We can't keep playing 343 and not expect managers and tactical analysts not to study footage and come up with plans.
