Sir Harry Kane Captain undroppable. Unless he's getting a penalty he's a waste of a player. Just like The Euros, a wounded slug on the field offering nothing. Flogged to death before the tournament but is happy to take another man's spot who might win a game for us. Dull Gareth hasn't the b@ 11s to bench him.
Utter g@ 5h, nothing going forward and outplayed by USA. They just can't score.

Everytime we won possession he was nowhere near the attack.. 6 times after Henderson came on to be a deep midfielder he was further forward than kane, including one occasion where Harry was stood shoulder to shoulder with rice while Henderson went and did the pressing up front.
It's woeful, leaves us short up front, where did the fearless fast attacking we did Vs Iran go? I'd rather go out watching us play exciting football than be subjected to this anti-football borefest the rest of the tournament.

Problem is he can't play on the shoulder of any defender anymore he knows full well in a foot race he isn't going to beat any half decent defender coming deep just masks that fact. Always said if Southgate had any sort of bottle he would of taken Kane off in the Euros final and put someone on who can actually run in behind the defence.

Sterling had a shocker, Mount was pants. But for me the 2 worst players on the pitch by a long way were Trippier and Shaw - they were battered and could swing a cross in to save their lives.

Hated the way Dixon kept banging on about England needing to be patient as if we were in any sort of control of the game - we were being outplayed Lee.

Issue is we are not talking about the Premier League. Over the two games how many times have you actually seen Kane make runs into the box? Hardly any. Yesterday was especially evident at his inability to play on the shoulder given USA's high line it was just asking for a striker to break their offside trap and even the most fanatical Tottenham fan will have to admit he can't do that. On Saka he didn't have his best game but correct me if I'm wrong but the one time Kane actually did go into the box he put the ball on a plate for Kane and he fluffed his lines. Also Saka has done what Kane hasn't and actually scored in this tournament.
