Haha, Kane is the second highest scorer in the Prem, how have his legs gone? Haaland aside, if Kane’s legs have gone it says nothing for the rest of the league.
Kane drops deeper so there is room for Saka, Sterling and Mount to run into. The problem is that Mount is useless, Sterling was awful tonight and Saka very wasteful and unable to put simple crosses into the box.

Issue is we are not talking about the Premier League. Over the two games how many times have you actually seen Kane make runs into the box? Hardly any. Yesterday was especially evident at his inability to play on the shoulder given USA's high line it was just asking for a striker to break their offside trap and even the most fanatical Tottenham fan will have to admit he can't do that. On Saka he didn't have his best game but correct me if I'm wrong but the one time Kane actually did go into the box he put the ball on a plate for Kane and he fluffed his lines. Also Saka has done what Kane hasn't and actually scored in this tournament.

Kane has won a World Cup golden boot, his credentials are undoubted. The game did need a player to exploit the US high line - which is exactly what Saka and Sterling are their for and what Son does for Spurs as well as Richarlison and Lucas.
Kane draws the defenders away creating space for others to run into. Kane was doing that last night and Saka was getting the ball in the box and then not picking out England players - me managed it once the whole game.
And I will correct you, Kane did not fluff his lines, he hit the target but it was blocked - why because Saka delayed the Pass going Ream that second extra to get back in the correct position.
Out of the 4 forward players, Kane was the least culpable last night.
As for Saka scoring at this tournament and Kane not, so what, Kane was instrumental in that win with his link up play. Kane will get goals when the service to him improves
"His credentials" is just trading on past glories.
He was poor, often deeper than the midfield yesterday and it left us short in attack, Henderson was pressing up front at one point while Kane was stood right next to Rice at DM.
It negates the attacking threat of the team when the second top premier league goalscorer wont stay high up the pitch to be involved.
