Sandy has been absolutely gripped by this series. Keeps saying its mickey mouse nonsense and that Pakistan will win. Then England deliver some brilliance with the ball and he bangs on about them being a poor side.
Admit it sandy, you're hooked. You can't switch it off. Drop the act and just admit you're having a good time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I like Test cricket when it is played properly. I live in hope that I will see a proper Test Innings constructed over a lengthy period, and not just a Bish bash bosh Innings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Out of interest... what is "proper batting"?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I like to see players blocking of the ball if it is on the stumps, and shoulder arms if the ball is going wide. Even if the scoring rate is slow, as long as you are still at the wicket is the name of the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How are batters scoring runs if they leave everything that misses the stumps and block everything that is hitting the stumps?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Proper test batsmen will patiently wait for a bad ball. Obviously some of their blocks will also score runs.
Good partnership this. Pitch looms Good, but still fancy England to win pretty comfortably.
England are lucky, as soon as any partnership starts to develop a timely break comes along. Just watch the wickets tumble after tea, now concentration has been broken again.

But if its short and wide and begging to be slashed to point then its going to miss the stumps then surely they won't play at it otherwise they're not proper Test batters?
Think we need to go all seam for the rest of the day, they're playing the spinners too easily.
Yep we are happy with this spin or lack of
Ooo should have reviewed that
At long last, some proper Test match cricket.
Good catch. Could be a big wicket.
Poor from Imam. Bat till close should have been agenda
Great fight back from Pakistan that surprised me. First two hours tomorrow will probably decide the match plus new ball.
Need 100 partnership from these two in the morning but I think it's too many runs left.
1st innings was not good enough, shouldn't have been bowled out for 200 on this wicket

I would say it's 55 45 in favour of England. Very close atm
England have 2nd new ball after 16 overs. That could swing it for England.
Will Pakistan try and score quickly for those first 16 oversi wonder?
Sounds like England have some players under the weather which may play a factor.
I didnt give Pakistant a prayer once Baber was out but I could have done them a huge injustice.
Babar always loses the Toss
He's not a good Tosser
Maybe he should practice Tossing
Well we've got potentially another exciting finish on our hands albeit going into day 4 rather than day 5. Still, at least we will get another positive result whichever way it goes.
Pakistan to lose by 70-80 runs.England have world class pace bowlers,Pakistan have zero.Pakistan take twice the amount of time to score the same amount of runs
Bazball has won but it will only win on flat tracks
I wouldn't say this is a flat pitch. There's a bit in it for the bowlers hence having 3 scores of under 300 so far.
Baseball narrative is getting a bit tiresome tbh.
There were plenty of periods where England were batting with caution in that 2nd innings. Like Pakistan, we also have a long tail and once exposed it fell apart. England batting collapses have been happening for decades. Look at our batting under Root less than a year ago.
England are now playing a more aggressive form of Test cricket but it's is not irresponsible cricket.
These naysayers are just bitter feckin luddite ugs tbh.

I live in hope that you shut the fack up....who is more likely to get what they want
England need to lose a few games playing like this just so that the reality of it will settle in well before we get thrashed again in the Ashes.
There is a difference between playing aggressively and playing stupidly. So far England have got away with it.
Pakistan will win this and next test and bazball will die forever
