Dembele wasn't great in the first half of the season. Had a very good second half of the season but was nowhere to be seen in the Club World Cup Final against the mighty Chelsea.

I don't think he had a brilliant season though, if that's what wins you a Ballon D'Or then the competition must have been weak this year.

So who deserved to win it? Salah for some pens in the league and failing to turn up in the CL when it mattered? Tell us who deserved it without giving us ignorant, reform voter reasoning cos a PL player didn't win.

Dembele saw the signs on the shores of England each time he approached from France, telling him he wasn't welcome, and each time he defeated the English, playing a massive role. Possibly only Messi has destroyed English teams in a way that Dembele did last season.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Villa, all swept aside by Dembele, despite them all trying to sink his boat.

No wonder the English are bitter. A modern day hero against racism, oppression and arrogance from the English.

I recognise the state of Dembele.
