The penalty decision was correct one. Anywhere on the pitch it would've been a freekick. The only strange thing about the decision it was first time we see a headbutt penalty. May be a red card was missing 😕

I've never at any point said it wasn't a foul.
All I've said it that it wasn't a headbutt and there were a couple of more clearcut fouls not given in other areas of the pitch, so ref was slightly inconsistent.
I think it was a pen, just a weird and stupid one.

It was a late challenge by saliba the ball was knicked away from him and he caught the player instead. No diff to if its foot on foot and the same happens a player wins the ball first and the other kicks his foot its a pen.
Its unfortunate for Saliba but in the box if you're making a challenge make sure you win the ball first. As i said Taylor gave himself plenty of time to think if he could overturn it before blowing for the pen. Rightly so, he couldnt and had to give it.

It's an interesting one. Onana a couple of times last season came charging out to punch the ball away and caught the opposition player in the head. Everyone was pretty unanimous in their views that it was a penalty.
I don't really see that foul as any different. Makes an attempt for the ball, doesn't get, catches the player with a bit of force. Pen all day imo.
Exactly, if you make a challenge for the ball in your penalty box, don't get it and get the oppo players most the time its a penalty isnt it?

Yeah in all honesty it's such light contact that in different circumstances it wouldn't send the opposition down, but because he's not getting the ball anyway and in the area he's obviously gonna go down and rightly so.
