Yeah they don’t want to have to come behind

aswell as being technically v poor (I don't understand why women can't become nearly as technically proficient as men at footy tbh...but it seems they can't) it's the absolute lack of power in the shooting

The poor penalties in the tournament have mostly been either missed targets or poor placement. Has nothing to do with lacking power. You don't have to watch these matches if they torment you so much, you know.

Wonder if they are so shat at penalties because they are put off by the D?

For sure, except they really shiiit the bed (which is very possible as occurred in the Olympics), Spain have nothing to worry about from either of these sides. The French are technically very poor and have no creativity (other than the spark from the Cascarino chick). The Germans are a better team, but too many moments of madness has cost them, and they'll be missing a few key players to injury and suspension.

Spain are favourites for sure, if England get to the final, they will have to watch the Woman's CL final to see how Arsenal beat Barca, if not I can't see a way for them
