Lloris is just going through a bad patch. He should be dropped in place of your backup keeper.
I dont see your board sharing your sense of urgency when it comes to spending money on players in January

Chelsea want to do a swap, Ziyech for Bissouma.
If levy can get cash as well, I'd say go for it.

Worst keeper in the league!

I can't say that I've followed Fraser Forsters career with any great interest but I can tell you that he must be a dreadful keeper if he can't displace Lloris.

Therefore a new goalie (or two) is priority number one, our defence maybe be $hite but imagine playing infront of that clown.

Doubt we'll sign anyone in Jan. Levy won't commit to Conte as Conte won't commit to him.... Trossard has been available on the cheap for a couple of weeks and now looks to be on his way to Arsenal. Everyone knows Porro's release clause is 40mln and we haven't triggered it (Do we want a WB if Conte is going and the new manager prefers 4 at the back). The CB shambles has been going on for ages. We all know who we wanted and ended up with the cheap/crap option of Lenglet on loan... waste of time.

This season is a write off now whether Conte stays or goes.... Utter shambles of a club.... Not that Levy or Lewis care

Clubs above and below us doing everything they can to address their needs for the second half of the season while Spurs just stumble from one crisis to another

Fully expect to get beat at Fulham.

Bless you for still thinking levy has any ambition and will fix this mess in January

Sorry OP but it’s already too late. 2 panic buys at best - we have no strategy, no forethought and no direction (except down the table).

The January priority is to resolve what next season will look like at the club - Is Conte staying if we back him properly? Are we holding Kane to his last year or not? Is there a realistic chance of Qatari money?

From there I don’t want anyone at board level sleeping, eating or schitting until they have identified the players we will be going after in the first week of the summer and what the realistic price of these players are - these players must be the managers choice whoever that is - if it’s Poch/Tuchel then consult and agree with them now. These players must be signed regardless of who can be shifted.

We should then spend our time working out realistic prices that we can offload the following for - Dier, Davies, Tanganga, Rodon, Sanchez, Royal, Doherty, Skipp, Winks, Lo Celso, N’dombele. If Conte/new manager doesn’t want them then add Reggie and Spence to that list also.

It’s root and faaacking branch time because the club is rotten to the core at the moment

May May!!!! It’s terrible and so is Hugo now. I would literally only keep Romero and Forster (as back up) from our back line options.

Imagine Spurs had the planning or strategy like Brighton
does.

Cb and gk obviously. We know how important they are to a team

Instead we wanna sign an attacking midfielder with no knees who doesn't improve the first Ci and are still haggling over signing our 4th RWB even though we signed one in the summer we haven't even tried and tested yet

Hugo has been past his best for a few seasons now.

But just watch with any GK that replaces him. It isn’t all plain sailing and in modern football with the way the game is played all GKs make mistakes. Just look at Ederson last night, a goal kick that went straight to Lloris. A spilled corner. And a mishap that led to our first. But barely a whimper about it from the punditry.

Pity any goalkeeper you sign with that defense in front of him,a disaster in the making.

Yes mate, but Lloris is pretty much at fault for goals every game. He’s costing us game after game. As are the awful defence. No other keeper does that on this level.

Oh I agree. But even when Lloris was consistent and rarely made errors there was always an agenda against him from pundits. Now because he is more error prone they are all just jumping on his back. It’s as if a case of a told you so. He is 36. Any GK playing at the top level of 36 would be the same. His longevity at this level is massively disrespected and disregarded imo.

I will clap him off when he does leave and remember all the times he saved out bacon

He’s been a great servant, but I’m starting to really get pi*** off with him due to his performances. For the good of the team, drop yourself if the manager won’t. He must know how poor he’s become.

He’s been great for us at times but in football you cannot be sentimental and he needs to be dropped for his own good name the teams.

OP

The January 2020, 2021 and 2022 priorities should have been proper defenders incoming. Nothing has changed, and you have the same defenders stinking out the place.

That is a board/management decision.

Fairly obvious to everyone that Conte has wanted new defenders but hasn't been given any.

And you still defend Levy/ENIC.

Do you actually see your blinded loyalty/delusion/confusion.
