Normally I'd say we'd have a chance of taking all 3 points with Kulu, Kane and Bents available, but we had them playing in the last City game and we still bottled a 2 nil lead. The dodgy one half performances are still there.

Our record against the big teams is dreadful and City probably have a little more urgency to win after Arsenal dropping points, so I'd say if we get a draw it'll be a good result given our form.

Depends how you define big teams. Brighton, Fulham, Brentford all in the top eight and Spurs have won at two and drawn the other.

Give over Sandy, they aren’t the big teams and you know it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Times are changing.

Big teams used to be Wolves, Sunderland, Portsmouth, Blackpool, Bolton etc when I was a wee lad.

Brighton, Brentford and Fulham are not big teams. You can't say any of these are big teams just because they are flirting with the top 6 for the time being. There's a good team and then there's a big team. The big teams are the ones that have made being good a consistent thing i.e. over longer than just a season or 2.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The likely is one, maybe two of those teams are likely to get Europe football next season at the expense of Chelsea and Liverpool.

Won't make them big teams though. Burnley got into Europe not so long ago, that didn't make them a big team either. It's about how often you do it, among other factors.

Nottm Forest with two European Cups may disagree with you there. They had three or four good seasons 70s and 80s. And won the ultimate prize, not once, but twice.

Also Newcastle have not won a domestic trophy for nearly 70 years, but a lot count them as a big team.

Anyway whatever happens today will probably not have much a bearing on where Spurs season is going.

No chance of a win today, we’ve not competed against anyone of the top clubs this season. Arsenal, United, Newcastle, City and even Liverpool and Chelsea have all outclassed us.

Conte needs to mix it up and play three in midfield to get a hold of the game, but we all know how he’ll set up. And deep down, we all know what the result will be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ouch.

Humble pie incoming.
