Stuart Barnes, writing about French rugby and World Cup ambitions used the phrase "winning streaks are monsters that devour ambition". His meaning was that, even in a "results business" endless wins can sometimes disguise fatigue, declining standards and so on.........Perhaps we need a reboot too.

Always liked Fozzy, but he's turned himself into a real hero !

PS black on blue doesnt work, not for my failing eyes anyway

Question for View, Vidal and other PP regulars....

I have been looking at tickets for the remaing home games that I can still attend. For the Shrews game next month, several areas are blacked out, inc in the SW, which is normally my first option.
Are they sold out already or is there another reason ? Seems strange when tickets are still available for the other home games

I don’t know Ang - just seen it. I do vaguely remember some Twatter chatter about the south stand being extended but since then nothing 💁‍♂️

Just read summat on dcfc fans about areas of the E Stand, next to the away fans being shut off.
Perhaps theyre moving across to the other stands ?

When I look to buy a ticket in the SWU, there’s a caveat that anyone residing south of Shardlow is not permitted to buy. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sorry, can't help. I just turn up with my season ticket and haven't tried to buy a home ticket except for Cup games. For away games it seems that sometimes there is a staggered release of blocks so that initially there are blacked out areas which subsequently become available. Try phoning the ticket office. I have always found them to be very helpful.

Ticket office number is one of those £9.99 a second jobbies, but I’ve always found email to be a very quick response: slo@dcfc.co.uk

If you do get a ticket I insist we try to have a pint somewhere.

I'll let you know if I do, Vidal.
A couple of home games have been 'chalked off' due to rail strikes, inc Ipswich

It would be great, as we know Scouse only attends away games

He tends not to turn up for a pint anyway, even if very specific arrangements have been made.

Bit of military discipline would do you both some good.
