Exactly what I was thinking. We've done it before obviously but that was Anfield second leg and we weren't leaving gaping holes all over the pitch back then.
Need courtois to be fit or weve no chance.

Not this season we aren't. When we did it against Barcelona, we were the better team and lost 3-0, which is a crazy thing to say but the truth. I still believed we could turn it around. There is no belief this time.

No legs went though. Some utter rank defending and mistakes. And once u r down versus outfits like these guys they will wear you down with their passing.
I honestly can't remember us there ajammier striker against us than benzema. The amount of pure fortune he has versus us is insane.

100%. People probably wont believe me but I had us on for 5-1 that night. We were the better team in barcelona and somehow lost 3 nil. Even messi said after the 1st leg it was nowhere near done.
This is not the same team. We have no midfield. Even if we scored an early goal you have no hope we can keep them out.
Its absolutely dead and buried.

I just don't understand why klopp insistt playing like that with taa again teams like real
I looked across the pitch several times and VVD was back with Gomez, Robertson high up on the left, TAA ahead of Bajcetic in midfield with Fabinho and Henderson in the final third with the front three, IN A LINE. It was shocking game management.
I've saw this a few times earlier in the season but I thought we had ironed it out recently. At 2-0 up relax and pass the ball around, why go gung-ho? I refuse to believe this was the instruction from Klopp.

Henderson gets around the pitch just fine, although he can't do it for too many games in a row. Fabinho shouldn't need to bloody get around the pitch and hasn't needed to in the past, he supposed to sit in front of the defence keeping it simple and cut out passes.
Bajcetic played well but gave away possession in a dangerous area which resulted in a goal. I can't put any blame on him for the performance. Shocking individual decisions, in game tactical decisions caused the horror that unfolded. Nothing to do with ages or legs. Henderson is only 32, Fabinho only 29, ffs Modric is 37. The problem was in the minds of the players.

He has always been slow, he hasn't lost pace. He's lost his bloody mind. I lost count the amount of times he was up in the final third. Stay in your bloody position and let the others do what they're supposed to do.
Klopp will have given them a right pasting. That's the worst performance I have seen in a long time.
