They want you sit because, from what I’ve seen, men p*ss all over the toilet seat and never clean it up.
Whether men should sit down to pee or stand up is a personal choice that depends on a variety of factors, such as personal preference, cultural norms, and physical ability.
There are several reasons why some men may prefer to sit down to pee. Sitting down can be more comfortable, especially if a man has a medical condition such as an enlarged prostate or a urinary tract infection. It can also be more hygienic, as sitting down can help prevent urine from splashing or spattering, which can lead to bacterial contamination of the surrounding area.
On the other hand, some men may prefer to stand up to pee, as it is a quicker and more convenient option, especially in public restrooms. It can also be more culturally acceptable in some societies, where standing to pee is seen as a sign of masculinity or strength.
Ultimately, whether a man chooses to sit down or stand up to pee is a personal decision that should be based on individual preferences and circumstances. As long as proper hygiene is maintained and any mess is cleaned up, either option is acceptable.
Funny but also it’s actually quite a serious topic.
Blokes should get their PSA checked regularly because many of us will get either an enlarged prostate or prostate cancer. If you are over 50 then get a test.
I’ve got the former and it’s not nice. However it’s much better than the latter.
If sitting down to pee helps then I’ll give it a go at home.

I was wearing my waterproof hiking trousers in a pub in the hills and went for a pee and even peeing standing up at the poo toilet I noticed lots of droplets on my trousers after that had sprayed on there and you could see them instead of them being absorbed like the would normally without you noticing. So every time you pee standing up you are peeing on yourself a lot. You just don't know it

Funny enough they say to put the lid down when you flush as well. Evidently it prevents aerosol spray filling the room and potentially contaminating things like your toothbrush.
Yuk
