Hope you are well Sandy

Yes the booing of Sanchez yesterday was embarrassing and disgusting ….yeah he is rubbish so is everyone else at the minute

It’s on levy keeping conte lite in charge ….was a stupid decision and it should have been a clean break

Yes the defence is shocking but it’s midfield where the real problem lies and there is zero quality in it to keep the ball and play quick passes to keep the pressure off the defence ….PEH and skipp don’t even offer protection

We have been very unlucky losing both Bentencur and bissouma , easily out best two midfielders (bissouma hasn’t settled yet but he has shown flashes of at least keeping the ball and we all know he has quality , it just hasn’t happened for him yet but it will)

Now conte is gone it’s time to ditch 3 at the back….play 4-3-3 and get control of the game and keep the ball away from the defence

If we could sign Maddison in the summer and have him Bentencur and bissouma playing together I’d be very happy …..obviously with a new centre back next to Romero who is better than he is playing ….he is doing all the work , the amount of covering he has to do is ridiculous….even though he is was left side after lenglet went off yesterday i lost count the amount of times he had to come over to the right to help

Welcome back Sandy

There is a limit in how sorry one can feel when players are earning in a week, what most of us don't even get that much in a year?

This is a professional game, and players need to be pro, and not come on during a critical game for the club, and look very amateurish.

Sanchez prodding the ball like a Sunday league player into the path of their player is not what we should we be paying £65k a week for?
£65k a week - let that sink in.

I don't like singling out people who are struggling etc but Sanchez is anything but that!

I don't even think it merits an article. If you are a pro sportsman, you get fantastic wages and lifestyle, better than 95% of fans, so toughen up and shake it off?
PS: Annual salary of £3,380,000 a year == yes I will be crying it too at that wages -- all the way to the Bank

I’ll never understand fans doing that to a player, what do they think it’s going to do for his confidence?

I`m fine Blackpolespur. Just prefer now to go to WHL to watch the games, rather than coming on the board looking at the same posts about Levy out, Poch in all the time. It gets incredibly boring.

We all know a major rebuild is needed, just not going to happen overnight.

I agree 100 per cent about the midfield, it is so poor, and the opposition go straight through it, and are soon at the defence. Definitely need three in there next season, Benancur, Bissouma and one other new midfielder. Just two CBs, and full backs that can defender. PEH can be a squad player.

Frankly once Spurs never purchased any CBs in January, and when Bentancur was injured, quickly followed by Bissoum, the season was effectively over.

We go again next season though.

Really shocked to hear that Sanchez was booed. Like Sandy I have seen some really poor players in the Tottenham shirt over the years for me it started with Eddie Clayton who finally found his level when he left us for Margate. But we still cheered them and encouraged them

Personally I’d sell Hjojberg and Skipp.

Move on Perisic. I was happy with Porro when he signed but he doesn’t suit the physicality of defending in the PL. He is very like TAA of Liverpool. More a RM than a RB.

I wouldn’t take up the option of Kulusevski either. When he came I wasn’t sure he would be the answer. He now looks like the player I thought we were getting, compared to the player that hit a purple patch when he signed. He is also too one footed and predictable.

Hugo was ok yesterday but we all know we need a proper long term replacement for him now also.

Return Lenglet. Sell Sessegnon.

Sanchez has been poor for quite some time. That’s said I felt for him yesterday, he always tries his best. He just isn’t good at defending deep. He should’ve been sold a while ago. That’s on Levy. He has been holding out, hoping for a return to the form of his first season rather than taking a financial hit on him. No player should be treated like that by their own fans.

Hope you’re well Sandy

So far this season, Son, Rico and now Sanchez have been seen crying at work.

The team has too many babies. Joke club.

Welcome back Sandy.... Hope you're well ? Sadly I said all this 6 months ago. This disfunction at the club, the performances, the tactics, the players attitudes, the squad depth a quality were there for all to see since the start of the season...... It had simply been papered over by a few decent results.

I said we would finish 7th before Christmas and I've not seen anything since then to change my mind.

The Booing of Sanchez was ugly and like you said it's not his fault. The fans anger is mis-directed, it should all be going in Levy's direction. Its been his decision to pay a championship level player to be at the top end of the PL for 6 Years !!!! and to employ inappropriate managers or those who are out of their depth at this level.

Like with every business, the change needs to come at the top.... Making mid-level managerial firings while keeping the ownership ethos the same wont change a thing & so its proved..... Its just ground hog day.

It hurts me to say it but I don't want Spurs to win a thing, they don't deserve anything. I don't want the club spinning top 4 (not that it will happen) as some kind of success.

I go back to the failed ESL, Its so symbolic of Spurs......what right did Spurs have even being in that discussion...... NONE... It's all down to fact we are in London, have a fancy stadium/ training ground and are financially strong. I've said it a thousand times.... The moment we built that stadium was the start of the slide, not just because of the cost BUT because it made the club feel like they had "achieved something". Sadly for Spurs, that's done by hard work and effort on the football pitch, not by borrowing money and writing checks.... The club is a fraud on every level.... Led by the biggest fraud of all

Nichonte, a blast from the past, Eddie Clayton, he is still about and well into his 80s. He was pitchside being interviewed I think last season or may have been the season before.

I remember him missing the goal from about a yard out one match, we didn`t boo though, but had a good laugh. Having said that he was useful, and was unfortunate to have been around when we had all the greats of the late 50s, early 60s. I reckon he would walk into the current midfield.

In an ideal world we would buy three CB's to compliment Romero next season. All four can fight it out for 2 spots.

Romero is still a liability and he can be counted to start every game. His main priority will always be Argentina too.

I still believe had Bentancur and even Bissouma stayed fit, Spurs would have made top four, or certainly got closer than they are now.

And what is the point of keep going on about Levy and ENIC. They aint going anywhere until a buyer comes in and stumps up about 4 billion for the club. So pointless keep going on about it. It will only happen, when a buyer comes up with the money.

Agree with you re Bents & perhaps having a manager that actually trusted Bissouma ! You are 100% right about Levy and Enic, they are not going anywhere. To me Enic just want the club to appear to be the best (Its all very fancy and they consider themselves part of the elite) without doing the hard yards & its that, that has trickled down to the players over the past few years.

Said it a million times.... It's all style over substance and its built on very fragile sporting foundations..... Levy has been found out by those in the football industry and its all coming home to roost!

You can stage as many fights, concerts and deals with F1 as you like but when nobody wants to come & manage the actual football team..... you have a major problem

Diamondlights, I am sure someone will want to come in and manage Spurs as poor as they now look. Bottom line is Spurs are still a huge attraction for any top manager and can still offer decent wages. I reckon there will be a long list of potential managers. Just a matter of getting it right.

Although never a fan of Sanchez… booing a player can only be deemed as detrimental to our side… main reason why we conceded the first & second goals.

His confidence must be completely shot by now.

Probably never play for Spurs again

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep.... I doubt he will, It's a shame but the truth of the matter is he is out of his depth at this level and his confidence was shot long before yesterday !

On the upside and as a result of yesterday I suspect thats the last we'll see of 3 at the back. With Lenglet & Davies injured, Sanchez finished & no clue whats happened to Tanganga (not good enough either) we'll be forced to go to a four. Not sure we have enough bodies in MF to make it work but we're kinda out of options

I guess we're looking at something like this.....

***************Hugo**********
*Porro***Dier***Romero***Perisic****
**************PEH***Skipp*******
********Danjuma***Kulu***Son***
*****************Kane************

Its very attacking & there's no chance of keeping goals out but we might as well do something different.

The idea of Porro and Perisic as regular FBs is terrifying

After a bad result yesterday.... Newcastle will rip us a new one next Sunday..... No point even thinking about top 4 at this point..... This club has no business being anywhere near the CL
