How can Arsenal be his NEXT club?

United can do with RVP in thier squad. He'll be an excellent choice when compared to the tripe they already have in Rooney, Hernandez, Wellbeck and Berbatov.

as long as it's not Utd i don't care.

We don't need another Hargreaves type player spending more time having glass legs repaired.

Overrated as they come as well.

You honestly think that he is overrated? He is quality in my opinion, but with the injuries he would be a gamble for anyone. Not someone you can really base a long term plan on and his injuries have played a part in Arsenal's lack of trophies in recent years.

up until the start of this season (havent looked since) he had scored or assisted 82 goals in his previous 97 appearances.... if that's overrated, then I'd love to know what isn't, in your book.

Not saying he isn't good player but Arsenal fans make out he's up in to 5 best in world.

I think he's decent as the stats show but wouldn't want him at Utd no way.

It would hold back Welbeck and we have great options up front.

We need central midfielder not another striker (one that is injured more than fit)

Hence me saying i wouldn't want him

not a dig at Arsenal at all.

The only problem I would have with him joining Utd is him being part of Bottlers FC. You never know, the condition may be contagious.

How many other centre forwards can you think of that are as good as him though? There aren't that many.

But these 97 appearances were spread out over 7 season

Sneijder?

Well yes it would have been nice, however i'm really done talking about that.

In the long term perhaps it was correct not to sign a 27 year old for so much money.

That doesnt make him overrated though - just injury prone.

Yep I know, top player but he's made of glass. Don't think United need another Louis Saha

Agree with captain, he's a very good player but nowhere near as good as gooners try to make him out to be, anyway were sorted upfront, still think we need a touch more experinence in centre mid, ando and cleverly are quality but carrick is still too hit and miss imo.

His temperament is fine. Just look at his record if you need any proof of that.

Arsenal's mental fragility is nothing to do with RVP trust me.

The guy's only failing has been his injury record.

I really wouldn't worry yourselves too much about the likelihood of him ever joining Utd though.

He hasn't been injured since before the world cup, his injury problems are no more and he is in the top 3 best strikers in the world.

That is nonsense, he's not even in the top 3 best strikers in London.

Lawd have mercy, arsenal fans are the kings of exaggeration.

And people say Liverpool fans are deluded. If he hasn't been injured why did he only manage just over half a full league season last season?

He could be up there with messi and ronaldo had he avoided injuries when he was younger. Last season he played every game in the world-cup so obviously he was going to miss games at the start of the season.

Wenger said likened RVP's movement to Messi.

I think he's even better than that.

Whenever I watch him play, Fred Astaire springs to mind.

I don't think he was ever talented enough to be that good and being honest he probably looked better than he actually is last season with Fabregas and Wilshere providing magnificent support with their passing.

However RVP is an excellent striker and would be an asset to most top clubs in Europe.

If he leaves Arsenal there will be quite a battle for his services.
