Serie A club Lazio have apparently made a offer for Plymouth's Morgan Whittaker.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Barcelona are after Paul Warne to replace Xavi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not true - he's going to Livepool when Klopp leaves

Saw most of the U21s agin Forest and it's safe to say they only lost because of the two red cards, the second a really silly one by Fapetu kicking the ball away after he'd received a yellow earlier but I trust he will learn from that. We look to have a very promising goalkeeper and the following stood out as well - Wheeldon at CF, Nto on either wing (really quick) and Fapetu. The midfield Robinson was very solid and strong and could be worth promoting if we don't get another in.

I noticed that Bardell was playing. He seemed to be on the fringes of the first team but has gone off the radar til now. Has he been out with an injury?

Nto gives a great interview on Rams TV following his stint in USA getting a degree. He comes across as a very intelligent guy trying to make the most of his education. Good on him!

I thought Weston (?) was excellent, very pacy. Think he was subbed but my eyes aren't what they were. I also have my Ntu's and Fapetu's mixed up. And if they confuse me, what will they do to the opposition eh!

Hi Chicago. Regarding Max B, that was his first appearance since Aug, I think. He's been blighted by injury for the past couple of seasons at least, starting with a bad hamstring injury initially. Not sure about his more recent injuries. Great shame imo, as I think he showed a lot of promise when in tandem with Cash.
I thought he'd scored last night, but, unfortunately no goal-line technology, just the linesman to judicate 🤔

I think his name is Eto Nto - someat like that, Heb!

Thanks Ang. We seem to have been having another FB injury curse. Let's hope he can now stay injury-free.

Do you remember TW making a very ungainly exit, failing to vault the barrier, Heb ? Could have been nasty

Yes, can't watch slow motion injury replays anymore....

I think TW cleared the barrier, but slipped on his studs when he landed?

Soft fecker could have done himself a mischief!

Anyone who Bucko's post mach interview will be in no doubt that the second sending-off was mentioned in the dressing room!

TW?

Good result for us Oxford Vs Portsmouth draw. We've got to take advantage now.

So who is optimistic we'll sign someone decent by the close of transfer window?

It's a huge NO but it's also a ' but do we anyway' regarding Tom Ince who was placed on loan this week? We could put him in a no.10 role which may help our midfield balance ? Or am I showing signs of desperation here?

Ince, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Agreed Scouse.

So early signs of desperation being shown by me. Got it!

Lee Gregory now linked with us. Would appear we're scouting only in Sheffield for a striker.

Are we still hamstrung by our budget agreed with the EFL?

Yes apparently we're still operating under EFL supervision. I understand this restriction stops in the summer.

Fair play to Warne, he hasn’t whinged at all about the budgetary restrictions. It seems one or two players we might have been interested in have gone to rivals just because they can offer a bit of cash. I thought Gregory was decent enough but he’s a couple of years older now. He might be a reasonable back-up to Collins but it’s hardly an exciting signing if it happens.
