Forest or Luton

Luton have better home fixtures, however they have managed to lose to both Burnley and Sheff U at home.

I can only see Everton picking up 15 more points, they have abysmal away fixtures and a couple of very difficult home games. Another deduction for them will make it very difficult for them to survive

If it came down to character and fight between Forest Luton and Everton, sad to say i think we’d come third.
The other two seem to have more of a ‘fight and togetherness’ about them, than our individuals.
Luton this season remind me of us last season.

Well, Everton have gotten points back, which should see us having a maximum six point penalty.

This would leave us on 18 points (pending appeal).

Luton on 20 points.
Everton on 21 points (another 4 point reduction)
Brentford on 25 points.

Forest's (Nuno) form is 1.1 ppg = 31 points.
Everton's form is 0.55 ppg = 28 points.
Brentford's form is 0.67 ppg = 33 points.
Luton's form is 1.22 ppg = 36 points.

Beat Everton and we stay up.
Beat Luton and we stay up.
Draw with both, we probably stay up.

Nothing to worry about.

Well done Bournemouth 4-3

Plus 1 to Luton

At half time we were in the bottom 3 and Luton were plus 4 on the trajectory.

At half time Luton were 1 up against Spurs and we were 1 nil down against Palace. Luton were 4 points ahead of it with relegation staring us in the face.

As it is we drew 1-1 and Brennan assist so Spurs won 2-1.

So we just above Luton on GD.

As predicted Luton beat Bournemouth 2_1

I was dreading this result and so far my prediction have not been far away.

We need at least a point from Spurs.

My concern is that some of teams that face Luton will be on the beach and Luton will want them more.

This could be a spring board for a run of wins for them that it's a repeat of 2017.

And for us a repeat of 2017

3_1

This game could be a crucial turning point.

Luton have winnable games coming up.

posted on 7/4/24

6 games to.

Could come down to just one point difference being enough to send us down ?

posted on 9/4/24

So Forest may end on 34 and Luton 35

We need something from the Chelsea or Everton or we need Man City to tonk Luton to improve the GD.

Forest 2 v Wolverhampton 2
Manchester 5 v Luton 1

Only consolation is the improvement in the GD !

Watching the game and it feels like déjà vu. We're still struggling with the same old issues—defending set pieces, especially corners, is a nightmare. Every missed chance upfront just ramps up the pressure even more. And I've really got to question some of Nuno’s choices today; the subs, especially Tavares coming on at such critical moments, just didn't seem to help at all. Watching Origi and Yates out there, struggling to make an impact, makes me think it's time Dominguez starts. The game against Everton will be tough and I just feel that Luton have more fighting spirit and the teams they are playing are on the beach.
