What an absolute shower of Sh!te his career has been, considering his natural ability. Take away the domestic cups and it boils down to 1 world cup (fair play) and a 4 Italian league titles.

Obviously not a terrible career, but he had potential to do a lot better than that.

Oh yeah, completely forgot about that. I was referring more to his mum who he says has been a great influence for him and who he truly adores. His dad died when he was young as well as far as I know.

But yeah, he does have a cuuuunt of a brother.

Side note but isn't this a common thing in sport that have suffered bad injuries to aid recovery.

Usually removing themselves from the pool like Connor McGregor before re-entering clean.

Souness always said he had an abundance of natural talent which he does. He just said he is missing nearly everything else you need to become a top player which is also true. Natural ability isn't enough.

Souness is one of the finest midfielder players Britain have ever produced so I think he knows what it takes to become a top midfielder.

Does anyone else think we should take a risk on him when he returns? Would only cost £80m or so and would make it all back in smack sales.

He was a waste whilst with us and a shame all around. He had some blinders and we did play some great football with him and Zlatan about.

I was no fan of his.

The idea however that Souness was bang on I won't accept. Souness embarrassed himself once when he went on Skysports stating Pogba should put his medals on the table thinking he is having a dig at him, the sky presenter reminded him it would be a very strong table. Better than Souness as a matter of fact!

Souness brought Pogba into every conversation on skysports and that was the issue.
