The World Cup for me puts him on par with sourness if not a bit more accomplished. I believe it was Ronaldo that said he would trade 4 champs league for the World Cup. It was not like pogba was also a bit part player, he scored in the final and played nearly every minute.

Yep. In terms of natural ability, he had it all. He could have been as influential for United as Yaya was for City. He just didn't have the desire. When he was interested, he was physically on a different level to most opponents.

Right. Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the most accomplished player in recent times is dumb for wanting to trade all his champions league for the world. Yep. In terms of natural ability, he had it all. He could have been as influential for United as Yaya was for City. He just didn't have the desire. When he was interested, he was physically on a different level to most opponents.

The World Cup for me puts him on par with sourness if not a bit more accomplished. I believe it was Ronaldo that said he would trade 4 champs league for the World Cup. It was not like pogba was also a bit part player, he scored in the final and played nearly every minute.
The point remains, Souness tried to have a dig at him like Pogba has had a mediocre career. Let’s not confuse here his time at United and his whole career.

Right. Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the most accomplished player in recent times is dumb for wanting to trade all his champions league for the world. I suppose you that would payed at an elite level know better. No one is knocking Souness, it was bloody him that had to be reminded by his own employer that pogbas medal table is not mediocre!

But anyway, of course all players want to win the world cup, that doesn't make winning it a bigger achievement than various other trophies.

World Cup is Holy Grail 4 players of nationalities that have a chance at victory
So obviusly that donet include Brits

If I was a player who had to choose between winning the wc or the pl, the pl is about a million miles behind the WC
