Good to know City fans think so little of their team that all Arsenal had to do was go all out attack and we would have absolutely smashed your team to bits.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Typically childish response to the credible suggestion that Arsenal could have shown a little more ambition today.

Kovacic was shytte, that's why Pep hooked him.

Gvardiol probably our best player today.

Not loads to say about City today, nobody had an especially poor game bar maybe Haaland, who could really do with putting himself about a bit more in games like that. Never really see him first to a loose ball or 50/50. Back 5 were all sound, Rico good when he came on - always available for the ball. Phil a bit lost, international football won't have helped but we got a lot of space down left in first half, maybe he could of done with being out wider to support Gvardiol - who had a good game.

Yeah, no one really had a stinker, think it's just as you say Boris. Last year we had the likes of Gundogan or Mahrez who could come in and turn that into a win. Both sides have lost out hugely today to Liverpool, and to chalk it up as anything other than that is nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Rico and Kovacic your best players I'd say.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, maybe Gvardiol for me. Says a lot though that the only real chance we had was that Kovacic shot at the start of the second half. We huffed and puffed but your back 5 were quite comfortable I'd say by the final whistle.

As I say, thought either team could have rolled the other today if they had a bit more about them. Personally though I'd be gutted if City went into a game for a point at this stage of the season when anything other than a win loses the initiative
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Walker, Stones, the Ake injured and they sat back and parked the bus.

Total lack of ambition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Am I the only one who watched the game? City had no ambition today either. And you were at home.

City had 2 shots on target against arsenal this season. Both from corners.

Well I was at the game.

Obviously only saw it from one angle but at least I was spared from having pundits telling me what was what.

All that timewasting highlighted the lack of ambition.

Understandable if you're winning or fighting relegation but not if you're going for the title.

Nah I’d disagree with that. We didn’t show quality but we were showing ambition, particularly in the second half.

I thought Arsenal were pathetic tbh. City are there for the taking and they had absolutely no desire to win that game.

I’m delighted as a Liverpool fan of course!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Assume you won there then did you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No we didn’t. We had injuries all over the pitch as always. Arsenal come in at full strength against a hugely depleted City defence and were too scared not to lose.

Again, im delighted with that outcome.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal weren't full strength.
Liverpool got 2 points from City, we got 4. I guess our approach was better
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And you should have got 6. Massive missed opportunity
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hugely, I say Arsenal were there for the taking but we were too. To come in top of the league, have 28% possession, 6 shots but no proper chances and 2 yellow cards for time wasting. I'd be gutted if I was an Arsenal fan. No ambition and can't see how any of you think it's a good result for you in the 'title race'. Only winners today were Liverpool
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A point away to City is always a good result for any team. This is the first time in three years that City have failed to score at home. And Arsenal are the only team to get 4 points against City this season.

posted on 31/3/24

Long way to go, I still reckon 86-88 points will do it

You were sh1111t at Anfield 3 weeks ago and very fortunate to get a point and they had several players missing. Where was your ambition there? Did you also criticise Man City then? No thought not.

Not scoring doesn't mean no ambition. Getting booked for time wasting at 0-0 on the other hand... City will be gutted with the result today, sounds like most Gunners are happy with it. At least you'll be able to point to not losing at the Etihad as a memory when you finish 2nd/3rd...

You’d have had a lot more chance if you’d won today but I make Arsenal 3rd favourites now with a fairly big gap after us and City.

I'd say you've got zero chance if your manager and players are as happy with the "city didn't score at home trophy" as your fans are 😂 if it were Liverpool we were playing today there's no way they come out with the same lack of ambition to win it, and that's the difference at the end of that day.
